We booked an RV spot for a weekend to try the place out and ended up staying for a month. Awesome place! I didn't know places like this existed. It's like a cruise ship on land. 55+ , but they were very nice to let us stay (we are 45 and 49). Wonderful sense of community. Everyone is very friendly. Lots of activities and classes....Yoga, pickleball, line dancing. 2 heated pools, 2 hot tubs. Onsite full bar and restaurant by the main pool (I hear it closes in the summer). Live music by the pool every afternoon and evening. Citrus trees everywhere! Grocery store is walking distance away. There is some room for improvement... - The gym is very small with no stretching area and is fully carpeted, which is kind of gross. The water machine in it didn't work. - Even with a high quality filter in our RV, their water tastes bad. Many residents agreed. - Staff in the activities office could be better informed. They were unable to answer many of my questions about how the classes worked and about details of events and registration processes.

Wow! What a beautiful resort! Upscale, but not stuffy. The buildings, grounds, sport courts, pools and laundry are well-kept and up-to-date. The property is huge, gated and secure. The lots are spaced apart nicely, with citrus trees at the curb of most -- We picked a grapefruit for breakfast every day! The property is very walkable, but you'll probably want to drive to anywhere outside the resort. Fishing and boating (tour or rental) and dining at Seguora Lake are only 30-minutes or so away. Grounds are clean and tidy, and Covid precautions are in place. The staff seemed to love their jobs -- Annette is a gem, and the couple who run the poolside pub were helpful and friendly, and our orders were spot on! I enjoyed everything about my stay and look forward to returning soon!

I was here for 2 weeks visiting grandparents. This is my second time here and it never dissapoints. We had kids this time and they love the pools and just going around looking at the lights and flowers. The amenities are amazing. Great weight room, 2 different pool areas, a sports bar, a billiards room, tennis courts, bocce ball, pickle ball, a golf driving net area. They just added a chipping and putting green right by the one pool. They have a batting cage and a little rc car offroad track. They have ceramics, and stain glass and fabrics etc... there is always something going on around the park, whether its cribbage or euchre tournaments, bingo or parties by the pool.

Awful!! Absolutely horrible experience, we were there for almost 3 years and that was 3 years too long! They make you sign a contract, claiming they uphold certain rules, meanwhile when you have a valid complaint about someone violating their rules, they don’t do anything about it and claim they can’t…?? And the few times they do “uphold” their rules they pick and choose whom they harass to follow those rules… And PLEASE do not believe their lies on any of their websites claiming they are a five star resort!! Five star resorts don’t serve food (that you pay $50 per meal for) with plastic utensils and paper plates. People park their cars on the sides of the roads all the time, making it hard for you to even get a golf cart thought, much less drive. Hopefully they don’t ever have a fire in here because emergency services won’t be able to get through. It also violates city of Mesa fire codes, but they don’t do anything about that either. People in here let their dogs pee and poop on all the lots regardless if someone is living on the lot or not, including letting their dogs pee on people’s personal decorations, which again is supposedly against their rules, but (shocker) they don’t do anything to stop it. It got so bad at the lot I was staying on that I had to go buy fencing to keep it from happening!! And yes, I complained multiple times about it, even directly to the manager here, only to have it all fall on deaf ears. My husbands service dog was attacked by another dog at the dog park and when we went to make a report they had me “email” it to them and never got back to me about anything being done about it. The worst part is, that same dog attacked multiple other dogs in the dog park, and the poor parents of the other dogs got their complaints ignored as well, in fact the owners of the violent dog were actually allowed to buy a house in here!! So please, if you value your sanity, animals and value for your money… do not come here!! It seems fun and inviting at first because they put on a good “show” but in all reality it’s just an over glorified white trash...

My husband and I have a 30 foot travel trailer. We've been on the road for several weeks staying at small RV parks in southern CA and AZ. Based on the reviews and the photos on their website, we were looking forward to the higher end accommodations and amenities at the Mesa Regal. It was very disappointing.

First, the sites are packed in so tightly that the only green space is around the two community centers, and that is very limited. With cars and golf carts parked on the narrow streets, it was very difficult to back into our site.

The facility is built for folks who bought small "single wide" trailers and had them placed on their site. These units are surrounded by gravel and often have a small carport squished into the design. RV sites are clearly an afterthought, and in the minority.

The RV sites are gravel and slope down to the street in such a way that front-to-back leveling is precarious. For an urban location, the wifi and antenna TV service is bad.

You have to wear a visitor badge whenever you use the community facilities. As I approached the pool or the fitness center, I could see people looking for my badge. This is not a welcoming feeling. In fact, despite a nice welcome when we checked in, I felt like an outsider whenever I walked around the public areas of the facility. It was clear that I was not among fellow travelers - I was an interloper in a close knit retirement community.

I also noticed that certain things were broken or missing, and folks (including the staff) just rolled with it. The jets in the jacuzzi didn't work. There was no change machine in the laundry room. Not what you would expect for a high end and expensive facility.

We will never return to Mesa Regal, and we will never recommend it to our fellow RV travelers. It is geared toward sunbirds who want an inexpensive second...

Only been here a couple of weeks in our RV. We’ve RV’d the mountain states for 5 months each summer for 3 years. Plus we were campground hosts for a summer in Utah. ||This park is old and used up. The electrical pillars are original (probably 1955) so don’t forget your surge protection. ||Some of the camp workers at the main clubhouse think they own the place and are bullish /rude and they’re a stain on the good folks. Be prepared to be barked at if you use your own plastic glasses to drink beer and/or cocktails and we did that because they serve their drinks in cheap plastic crappy cups. A dirty martini in a plastic cup is just wrong. Head barkeep (employee) said we could but some overzealous warthog said we couldn’t. We didn’t mind but she didn’t need to be rude and abusive. I hope they can her!||You can’t have more than 6 at a table even if they are family ( we had 7, 5 adults and 2 children). Got barked by some warthog for that. ||The park is noisy with car and motorcycles racing on the 3 main streets (Main, Greenfield & University) at all hours of the night. ||When neighbors gather for food and drinks it sounds like they are in your site. Nothing to buffer the noise. ||So far we have enjoyed the happy hour music but you have to struggle to hear it over the pool volleyball games. When a point is scored they cheer like they just hit a homer in high school playoffs. Grow up people and be a little considerate of the others in the pool area. ||If I could get my money back we’d bail but since the Canadians aren’t here money is tight plus a no refund policy. ||We won’t be back and I’d advise you to review other parks websites and their respective reviews. This park is CalAm so maybe other parks by this...
