My husband & i took our son prom shopping last weekend last minute, being that he decided to tell us a week prior he was going, and we decided to patronize this establishment. I already had an idea of what I wanted him to wear and showed them the picture asking if they had it. However, what i was shown was not exactly like what i showed them, but I was pleased with the choice. It was close enough. After gathering measurements and picking out shoes & a shirt, i paid for everything in full and was told it would be ready on Thursday& to leave everything there, as far as the shoes, the shirt& jacket because the pants were the only thing that needed to be altered and just pick it up then. Let me also add they threw in the shoes and the shirt for free, which was a kind gesture. The suit was$480. And let me add i didn't go in there negotiating for no handouts or lower price. It wasn't ready on Thursday, and I was told to check back the following day. My husband took him to go pick up his attire the following day & and at my urgency, i told him to try it on before he leaves to make sure it fits. Unfortunately, they were told it was not a dressing room for him to try it on but assured them that everything was good. I told my husband not to leave that mall without trying it on, only because I would hate for them to get home and find out the following day, which is prom that something not fitting right. Well....the pants didn't fit. My husband goes back to the store and voiced his concerns, i will say things apparently gotten heated because of the aftermath that followed between my husband and the owner which resulted in a negative review from my husband based off that interchange between the two of them. After that, i somehow was bought into the mix by being harassed by phone calls and text to ask my husband to take the review down he left on this platform and further more received a threat of being sued. Even a derogatory remark via text was received. Crazy i know!! The review was removed, but let me be clear it wasn't removed because of idle threats received, etc... i told him i would leave a review. Although everything was taken care of promptly, I will say this, having a business i do understand you have a reputation to uphold. However, customers can have an opinion & if a customer don't like a service, well, thats their RIGHT & OPINION, and they are ENTITLED to that. With that being said, that's why customers are allowed to leave reviews on Google & Yelp platforms. That's what those platforms are for. The reviews that you receive that you feel are negative, and to you may hurt your business, it shouldn't even be a factor. If you're on top of everything from the start, bad reviews wouldn't even be a factor. I gave four stars because of the behavior that followed , and although they fixed the issue, its the principal of it all had they made it home and the day of the prom which is today, and the thought of the pants not fitting and we have to drive all the way back over there because we do not live NOWHERE NEAR that area. The money wasn't even a factor, i couldve spent $1000, and the issue would've been the same. Being that it was suggested by you to come get our money back and it was also offered to us to have a freebie on the house if I could get him to take his review down, which i declined both! We dont need any handouts! My husband wanted what was paid for and expected it to be done correctly upon retrieving the items from you. Your store was suggested, and that's how we ended up over there in your establishment. Notice I said "suggested," but you two worried about bad reviews, and you do have some on here, I might add. Makes me wonder how irate you got with those customers. ...

They are only kind and welcoming when you first go in to try their suits and are trying to talk you into buying from them and their entire demeanor changes when you come in to pick up your order and have any feedback/opinions on the items you purchase with your own money. They act like they are doing you a favor when you ask them to do their job and are aggressive and unprofessional, they expect you to jump from joy by their subpar work. Wish I would’ve seen the bad reviews before wasting our time here, they are loud and argumentative and talk over you constantly and don’t even do what you ask of them. My father had to come home with a shirt that was never even taken out of the packaging which was supposed to be tailored and is about 3 sizes too big and he wasn’t even allowed to try it on, he only tried on the rest of his outfit and was quickly rushed out by the older man who kept talking over him and saying it was “perfect” when it clearly wasn’t. And of course, the son of the owner will come under this review and not take any accountability or give a condescending reply like I’ve seen he does to all the other negative reviews. Funny how a lot of their one star reviews pretty much explain the same thing and concur that these two are argumentative, aggressive, and unprofessional. Good riddance...
Read moreVery direct, if not a little opinionated, but it's kind of refreshing. They've been doing this for a long time. They do allow you to think through what you want, but after 30 years they probably know what you need before you do.
They will ask for your phone to review their site and then write a basic 5 star review. They didn't take it from me and I knew what he was doing. I came back to put my own thoughts, but they're doing this because you can see that they have trouble with some customers because they are very forward and I could see them clashing very quickly with someone of a similar personality.
Just know that once you buy, you bought it and they won't refund, just fix any issues you may have and that might be iffy if your attitude is off.
If this is a problem for you, look elsewhere, but I think they've had enough with flaky consumers.
As to their products, the ties, pocket kerchief and undershirts are really low quality, but the shoes and suit itself seemed fine. They're not high quality, but try to find a tailored suit ensemble for $250.
If you want a better experience, go into the store after 3p.m. when the son is there. He's who I primarily dealt with and has a much better...
