Falcon Ridge isn't just a round of golf. It's an immersive experience! From the attendant who greeted us in the parking lot and took our bags to the carts and set us all up, to the pro shop staff who tended our every need before we stepped to the first tee, you are 100% their most important person and they show tremendous focus in helping you feel welcome.
Then there is the course. You step out of the desert and into a golf paradise. The challenging fairways and greens kept us focused all while giving us breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. Gorgeous!
After our round, the cart attendants cleaned our clubs and had us feeling like pros before we even changed our shoes. I"ve never felt so appreciated in a golf setting in my life. Even the next set of golfers who came in were saying, 'Have you played here before? I've never felt so pampered at a course. Definitely coming back!'
I feel the same. I plan to return soon and enjoy another round on an exceptional couse that has deepened my love for golf. The price is right, the scenery is beautiful, and your golf game will be tested. A morning well spent is in store when you play...
Read moreFirst class reception. Nice friendly staff. No practice facilities. Poor signage to get to First tee box and going from front nine to back nine. Not a problem if you are a member, but as a guest, very disappointing.Beautiful course and views. Starter told us due to the conditions of the course, they would allow a breakfast golf ball. Became very tired of all the blind shots. Accidently hit into group ahead twice. Evidently with 90 degree cart rule and lack of view to the green, we got a false sense of where the carts were and where the people and playing areas actually were. Greens were in a mangy condition and in the worst shape of any course played in the area. An investment in some newer golf carts would be a welcome change. Kept being told about all the new improvements coming in the future and general optimism. They charged us like the facilities already exist. Not a $170 value course at present condition. My friend that is hosting me down here was apologetic. I will give it a go in a couple years when they finish the upgrades. Lots of potential...
Read moreJust finished a week and a bit long golf trip, 36 a day, total of 18 rounds. 2nd year in a row to Mesquite because of just how great, and close, all the courses are to each other.
I like this course enough that we played it four times over the week. However, you need to be prepared for a little bit of adventure golf. The front nine is pretty benign, but there there are a few forced carry shots that make tee selection important if you are not a reasonably long ball hitter. But it the back nine that you need to prepare yourself for. The back nine is fun! But it’s circus fun. There are blind shots, extreme uphill shots, extreme downhill shots, forced carrys, then…you get to the greens. They are extreme. If you are in the wrong place, you have issues. This course sometimes gets a bad rep due to the back nine, and IMHO if they toned down the greens it would be far more playable and everyone would love it.
Bottling, this is a really fun course that you may be challenged to...
