I will never recommend that anyone eat at the pizza hut in Mesquite NV, if this is the only pizza joint in the area, I feel sorry for you all...go buy frozen it will be a much more enjoyable experience.. Ok here it goes....the boyfriend and I decided to go to the night part of the Mesquite Hot Air Balloon Festival tonight in Mesquite, Nv...we arrive a couple hours early and end up doing some driving around, found out where the Camel Safari is, went past Cliven Bundy's ranch ya know sightseeing, well around 4 we decide to stop at pizza hut and have dinner...we walk in there are 6 employee's and 1 person in the lobby, a woman came in behind us...she orders and then we do Randy's name comes up on a display screen informing us that the order will be ready at 429 (approx 15 min after ordering, not to bad. .did I mention that there is a constant ringing of a telephone that nobody seems to answer, once again 6 employee's) at 439 we see what we believe to be our order (only because the display sign informs us that its done) anyways we see this dude walk up and put it in the heated case, we wait until 445 and my boyfriend go up to get the order (mind you they called out the name of the woman that had ordered before us promptly and she was on her way) the boyfriend waits another 5 minutes at the counter the dude who put the order in the heated cases comes back to the counter the boyfriend gives hi. His name and the dude can't find the order in the register and asks randy if it had been paid for yet? At that moment I get up from the table I had to clean off to be able to sit down (all the tables and chairs were dirty, again I will tell you there were 6 employee's) and give the guy the receipt for our paid order and said to him will this help, and he's like yes, we get the order and I have Randy be sure to get the receipts back, so I can do a review....not happy at all with the place and normally I like pizza Hut... oh and i forgot to mention that an elderly couple came in about 10 min after we did and placed an order for dine in, one of the female employees called out his name when his order was ready the older gentleman was slow to get up and made his way to the counter (there were 5 customers in the place, my bf and myself, the elderly couple and a guy on a stool by the front door) the girl saw the older gentleman get up to approach the counter, he was almost there when the girl turned her back to him and placed the order in the heated container and...
Read moreWe were visiting our parents who live in the area. Not busy, but steady. We had ordered drinks and appetizers with person, and then another person came to ask our order. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks and that was after asking. We had another stop and ask if someone had taken our order. We stated yes. When the appetizers came out the cheese bread was cold, to which I brought back up and explained they were cold, to which I was asked if I wanted them reheated, I stated No we will pass as the pizza should be there soon. We are now an hour into waiting and we had 2 staff stop and stated that they would check on our pizza but neither return to let us know anything. About into an 1 1/2 we went to ask if someone could let us know how much longer and again was told they would check and let us know. We waited another 5 minutes and went and asked, to which it was discovered with the response of "My Bad" , I thought someone was going to put this in. He apologized and offered his 50% discount and at this point not sure how much longer the group wanted to wait. After looking at the fact they seemed to still be behind and we had been there for going on 2 hours. I did asked to speak to the manager and spoke with Aaron to I explained I wasn't angry just frustrated and that it was difficult as we had 3 people that told us they would check to see where are food was and no one return to let us know. He seemed more interested in trying to say something he thought I wanted to hear instead of listening. I offered to pay for our drinks and the one appetizer but he said forget it. It unfortunate that instead of look for a way to retain customers you are just pushed off. They need organization, learning about multi-tasking and follow thru. I work in customer service and things do go wrong, and I really try to be understanding and offer information that could be helpful but unfortunately it wasn't well received and they will stay in business as there are few choices in Mesquite but the money that walks out the door due to this type of service makes a huge difference in this store...
Read morethis place is honestly a joke. ordered a big box, a new girl was taking my order, she had to keep asking the manager about answers of the big box, which she clearly knew nothing about. I wanted pepperoni pizza, and had gotten plain cheese pizza. It comes with breadsticks, and I got NO marinara sauce either. I called this Pizza Hut as soon as I opened the dinner box at home. A young male had answered the second time I called. He told me he was very sorry about my order, and he will have it replaced for me at no charge in about 30 minutes. Thinking everything was OK, my dad heads back over 30 minutes later. Come to find out that nobody working on the night shift knew NOTHING about my order being re-placed. They wasted my time, my parents time. I called a third time once I found out they weren’t giving my dad anything. When I asked for the manager, she said she was the shift manager. I asked for her name, and stated she will not give me her name. I asked for the general managers number as I said I would call tomorrow morning, considering the time it was around 8-9 pm. She stated she wasn’t going to give me that information. I told her I will not be coming here again, and all she had to say was “ okay, cool “ I don’t know which type of “ managers “ they’re hiring, but saying “ okay cool “ is not the type of answer a manager should give a customer. DO NOT EAT HERE, THIS PLACE...
