Panda Express — Restaurant in Mesquite

We had pulled up to order 15 min.s before closing; which I'm aware as someone who has worked in fast food can be a bit irritating, but all of the open signs and lights were still on so we pulled up anyhow seeing as there was a car that went right before us and had pulled up to the next window. When we pulled up to the order Mic. Someone said, "I'm closed" and we weren't sure if we heard them right since it was said so quietly, so we asked what they said, and she responded, "We're closed." It's fine if you had no more food made for another order I totally understand it would be wasteful to make batches of things for one more car, but you weren't polite about it. At the very least you say something to the effect of, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we've actually run out of product and aren't making anymore tonight, but we would be happy to serve you tomorrow." It doesn't even have to be that formal sounding, just something more than saying, "I'm closed." If you don't want people coming to the mic. that close to closing then turn out the lights like I've seen it...

As I entered the restaurant with the hopes of being in and out, with the option of online ordering, we were fairly surprised by the amount of customers in the store. Nonetheless happy for a healthy restaurant as we waited for our order to be fulfilled. As the time exceeded our pick up time i decided to ask the cashier (Jimena) for info regarding the order because I am a truck driver and use online ordering to make a prompt visit. I was told to wait for a reply then I was surprised to be left on the sideline with no clue on what the issue was. I asked Jimena again and rudely she replied she didn’t know and that there was nothing she could do about it. I asked to speak with the manager Claudia and to my dismay her attitude was the same if not worst. She had a customer she was flirting with that had just walked in and said they can wait. No we can not our order was delayed and we also have places to be just like everyone else. The experience is the worst. So...

03/311/2024 Enjoyed our Easter dinner away from the house. Entrées were a little tough to chew, breading wise and meat as well. Food was tasty as usual, just been sitting a bit longer than it does normally.

Our entrees were terrific! Both had the Orange Chicken, Sweetie enjoyed Honey Sesame Chicken as her second and I the Beijing Beef!! Yummy!!! My Honey felt that her Orange Chicken was a bit overcooked, though I couldn't agree as both were dished from the same wok. We also had an order of Cream Cheese Rangoon, which Sweetie hadn't tried before, and it was awesome! Wish it would've been Crab Rangoon though!! Staff was courteous, friendly and polite!! We'll be dining again!!! Thank you, Mesquite NV Panda Express!!!
