DO NOT BUY ANY GROUPONS FOR THIS PLACE!!! I purchased a 60 min massage and 60 min facial as a gift for Mother’s Day. I call the number on here and explain I have a Groupon I made an appointment and prepaid the taxes and tips so my mother wouldn’t have to pay anything. My mother needed to reschedule her appointment so I sent a screenshot of the address and phone number that’s on this Groupon page. She was able to make the change in appointment with no issue. So goes to the appointment and they tried to tell her she was going to get a 30min massage and 30min facial when my Groupon clearly states a 60min massage and 60 min facial. Then they made her wait for a manager to come in. After they do the service they tried to tell her the Groupon wasn’t for that location. Are you kidding me?? The page literally only has only location and one phone number. The person asked me to screenshot what I had on my Groupon page. How ridiculous! How can I make an appointment and my mother reschedule it, if it wasn’t for that location? The person literally told me about the original date I made the appointment & everything. So how are you able to see that information if I didn’t make the appointment there?? She questioned me about the redemption & all I’m like your own staff took that information when I made the appointment! My mother even showed the text messages she was getting confirming her appointment at THAT location! Clearly a place looking to get more money from someone who wouldn’t be paying attention or wouldn’t question! My mother said the massage was terrible they were chopping at her back. The only good thing was the facial but after being QUESTIONED about a clear Groupon showing the name, address, and phone number of this ONE location.. I’m disgusted. And even if it was for a different location… were you going to make her pay for that service instead of just transferring that Groupon over?? Why wouldn’t you check all of this before performing the service?? You wanted to get someone unsuspecting as they were leaving. I can only imagine what I would of have to go through if my mother paid for that service accidentally to get her money back. BAD BUSINESS...
Read moreI booked a deep tissue massage appointment today at Lucid Spa. I paid the Groupon price because I had asked them about getting the deal which they gladly agreed to offer me. I went in for my massage and mid-massage I started hearing loud noises of people talking, walking by, coughing / sneezing etc. It was quite annoying because I went in for a relaxing time. After a bit it also became slightly chilly in the room, and because I was face down I didn’t know what was going on. At one point I lifted my head and to my horror the door was slightly ajar. I was shocked to be violated like this and almost wanted to get up and storm out but I asked the masseuse to shut the door and finish her massage. She couldn’t communicate in English but I got that she opened it cause she felt “hot”. After the massage I went to the front desk and requested for change for a tip. I paid $47 for the massage and wanted to give a slightly lower tip of 10%. I let one of the staff there know that I wasn’t happy with my experience overall. I handed out the $5 tip to my masseuse to which she rudely refused and demanded that I pay her $10 by saying NO!!! $10. She also cursed me in a language I didn’t understand and said a bunch of rude things. Then they all started speaking the same language. I was clueless but remained calm and polite. I was asked to pay the tip and get out. She literally slammed the door on me. They asked me how the massage was, and in all honesty, it was very average. Infact I have a terrible headache after she ended up pulling on my hair during the head massage part. Needless to say I’ll never go here again. It’s by far the worst customer service ever I’ve experienced and all the staff was...
Read moreI purchased a Groupon for a 60 minute facial and it was pretty easy to book an appointment. Just beware that they don't have a parking lot but there is a paid meter lot across the street, so make sure to bring quarters. The facial was great and the place was pretty clean, but you still face some language barriers.
One thing I didn't like was that with the Groupon they advertised that you can choose from 7 different types of facials (European Deep Cleansing Facial, Teen Deep Cleansing Facial, Acne Facial, Radiance Facial, Hydrating Facial, Organic Facial or Aroma Signature Facial), but when you get to your appointment, they don't give you an option to choose, they just go ahead with the treatment and do what they want.
Likewise, at the beginning of the facial, the esthetician offered me their micro dermabrasion treatment for $50 additional, so I accepted. Although, after the facial and micro dermabrasion my skin looks bright & my nose is free of black heads, throughout the treatment, the esthetician explained very little of what she was doing or what she will do next so, most of the time I had no idea what she was doing or putting on my face. Another thing I didn't like is how pushy they were being at the end trying to make me sign up for their 5 session special for $300. I needed to see how my skin reacted to the treatment before deciding if I may go back to this spa. I don't like being rushed to purchase additional sessions before I can really appreciate the results. Not sure if...
