Horrendous and Impossible! I contacted Dis Vintage in the hopes of securing the remaining inventory that I need to open up a vintage clothing shop. It took me approx 2 weeks to speak to Ingrid who the website advertises as their vintage dealer. when I finally did, I was amazed at her rude, condescending and abrasive customer service skills, if you could even call them that. She absolutely refused to give me any information regarding the price of garments sold by either the piece or the pound. She could not give me a specific decade that she did or did not carry. The only information that I could gather from her was that she has clients all over the world, nothing pre sixties is sold by the pound, she has approx 200 pieces from the 1950s and before, she doesn't give prices over the phone and the prices on location depend on the specific individual dress (including their price per pound!? What?) I explained to her that I was only trying to ascertain prices to determine if her prices were actually wholesale or retail vintage since she said she does not sell anything pre 60s by the pound. She continuously was quite rude and vague about every question I had. Ingrid told me she is French so I thought perhaps her poor attitude and social skills could be chalked up to me misunderstanding her accent. I asked if I could see the warehouse for myself and attempted to make an appointment with her. Once I set a day and time, she told me that I had to have at least $1,000 with me to spend. I told her that I wasn't sure I could commit to spending that since she only had 200 pieces to which she replied she actually had millions of pieces. I assured her that I was not looking to buy one or two dresses, but I didn't want to drive two hours to be forced to spend $1,000 on items you aren't sure you have, how much they cost or how you will sell them. I asked if it was possible to do a minimum of $500 as there were so many details she was unwilling to give me and I was told not to come. After some research, it would appear that I am not the only person to have a similar negative esperience. One poor lady flew down from NY and was treated far worse than I. I'm only writing this review to warn others because there is something just not right about this place. Aside from the rude and disrespectful attitude, there were so many things that did not add up and it gave me an overall overwhelming intuitive negative feeling. Beware and find...
Read moreNo wonder this place has so many bad reviews! I thought It was just people trying to make them look bad so I gave them a chance. Went down there with my business partner to buy clothes for our new vintage clothes business. Spent 5 hours rummaging through the piles and piles of clothes half of them had stains by the way to find some pretty decent items. We asked the owner to total up our items at the end of the day because there is a minimum amount that you must buy 1500$ so we wanted to see how far from our total we were. She added the totals up, we never haggled her prices, but that is how she started to treat us. and then proceeded to tell us we were better off going to thrift stores because things are cheaper there. we are new to this business and weren't sure how much to sell the really rare items we were wanting to purchase. So many weren't in the best condition too. We never said that things were too much money for us, she just assumed we thought that. And was speaking very condescending to us. We are young so she was treating us like children. We were supposed to come back the next day to pick more things and pay for the clothes, she texted me in the morning to see if i was coming. I had already told her I was, she knew we travelled far from Atlanta, spent a lot of money on flights i didnt see the message and respond until one hour later, so when I did she told me it was too late and not to come. It was only 10:30am. I'm writing this review so that If someone in my position is debating whether to come they will have a better idea of what to expect. Yes we are new to this business and it is hard to know what to price things at to know if they will sell but that is part of the learning experience and not really her concern. Anyways everything happens for a reason, and although I'm disappointed that I was treated that way I look at it like a blessing that I didn't end up doing...

Response to business’ reply:
I was asked to review and rate the DIRECTIONS and DESCRIPTION I was given from Google, not your business. I did that. Is there anything in my sentence that is incorrect? You are not a public vintage store as described in Google. That is what I made a comment on. I said nothing about you, or anything you said to us.
Google wasted my time by inaccurately describing your business and location. But, you knew that, you told us you did, and haven’t chosen to correct it. So my rating stands.
Now, if you would like to talk about low class, please see your response. For you to insinuate that my time isn’t valuable...
