Do not bring your bike here for service. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! I had been warned how rude and money hungry they are. I can testify because I've dealt with them twice already. I brought my Ducati 1199s In June and I spent $6700 and had a horrible experience and they had my bike for 2 months for a simple fix. The service manager Jorge is extremely rude and if you dont want to take my word then go ahead and you will find out for yourself. Against my better judgement I brought my bike in today only because it is convenience and close to my house but it will be my last time ever. I brought it in for a starter or battery issue and scheduled a time to bring my bike in for next week which was the soonest they could get it in. I explained the situation to the service manager and asked him in his professional opinion what he thought was wrong with it, he would not even tell me what he thought could be wrong. I called several places before and eveyone was able to give me their opinion but he won't give you one because he wants you to pay the hour service charge plus charge you for anything he can. So I took my bike off the truck to leave it and I had my battery already taken off the bike so I thought I would ask him if he could just quickly test the battery. This whole time he is grilling out steaks around back in parking area. He said he didn't have time to test it and I'm trying "to take food away from him and his guys" In other words he won't get to charge me alot of money. His rudeness was so bad I canceled my order and loaded my bike back up on the truck. PEOPLE I AM WARNING DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. TAKE It to Two wheels world on Pompano Beach or even HOUSE OF THUNDER USA or Adrenaline Motor Bike shop or La 8 motorcycle. They all work on Ducati and will not be as bad as this place. I will be filing my complaint with Ducati headquarters in California. Simply so rude and especially as much money as I was robbed a couple months ago. Deal with them once and you will agree. IN RESPONSE(and follow up)TO MANAGERS RESPONSE: I never once asked to borrow anything, yes I took my battery off the bike(if you call that working on bike) and hoped that you could simply test the battery so I didn't have to wait a week and pay the ridiculous labor charge because of a simple problem like a battery. You're response when I asked you to test the battery shows the character of the dealership. You got upset and complained that I was " taking food away from you and your workers" because I asked to test the battery. You're rudeness is the reason I loaded my bike back up on my truck and took it to TWO WHEELS WORLD IN POMPANO. THANKFULLY I did because I brought it to them that day and they were extremely nice and tested my battery for no charge. Took them all of 2 minutes. Ended up being the starter that went bad on the bike. TWO WHEELS was even able to replace my starter AT NO CHARGE TO ME even though my bike was out of warranty but because of the year 2013 and low mileage DUCATI customer service in California replaced it and TWO WHEELS installed it for no charge to me. Pompano is a little further and out of my way but I will be bringing my Ducati 1199s to them. You will instantly tell the difference between the two dealerships. Ducati of Miami, stop focusing on how much money you can take from the customer but actually show genuine care in...
Read moreI purchased a pre-owned motorcycle from Ducati Miami and it was a nightmare.
First. I have a 780, 792 and 805 credit score. After they ran credit they came back with a high rate for a financial institution I’d never heard of. (I’ve purchased 17 Ducati’s so I understand dealerships have preferred banks to get kickbacks, points on interest rates, etc). I told the salesman I haven’t paid that kind of interest rate since I was 18. I requested he go through Ducati Financial. I was approved at a much cheaper rate. They advertise online “The best rates” but obviously don’t look out for customers by only telling them about the highest financing rate possible.
Second. The paperwork was a mess. Some paperwork had the bike listed as a Ducati Diavel Dark, some had it listed new, some had it listed used, some had it listed 0 miles and some had it listed 1100 miles. The bike was a preowned 2022 XDiavel S with 1,082 miles on it. I sold cars with Walter Porsche. I’ve never saw such disorganization in sales in my career as a salesman.
Third. After everything finally went through I let the salesman know I’m out of town for the week of Oct 14-19 so it needs to be delivered prior to my departure or after I return as I am an out of state buyer. What does he do? He ships the bike on the 16th.
Fourth. The delivery guy messages (while I am out of town camping in the great sand dunes) that he will be there tomorrow for delivery. I have to communicate via garmin satellite to a coworker to wait at my house for the driver. After 6pm rolls around he leaves as the driver is a no show. Then get a message saying “I’ll be there at midnight to deliver your bike. My truck broke down and I have a delivery in Houston in the morning I can’t be late for”. I hiked down the dunes and drove towards the visitors center to get enough cell signal to open my garage remotely at midnight for these jokers. After thinking I finally have possession I get a message the next day “I forgot to leave your keys. They are in my truck in Houston and I’m not in the area. 🤦♂️ Still waiting for the keys mind you.
Fifth. I ordered 2 kickstand pucks and a Ducati vest on pure-ducati.com (owned by Ducati Miami/Two wheels world). I get a message a day later saying the vest is discontinued and we no longer have it. Understandable. I send them a different piece of clothing and said I’ll pay the difference since it’s $20 more for the new item I picked. A day later I get a message saying the new item is on back order until Jan 15. Said ok. Place the order and I’ll wait. They said they can’t do that they would ship the kickstand pucks ($27) now and I could order the other item in Jan. They sent an invoice with a $15 shipping charge. I declined and said cancel the whole order I found everything in stock at AMS Ducati. They said they can’t cancel it. I filed a formal complaint with Better Business Bureau and PayPal. Magically a day later they messaged saying they got “special permission” to cancel my whole order.
Not sure how these people are still in business. Very incompetent sales dept, finance department and online store. Ducati North America has been sent this complaint and I want the general public to see my experience to save others the frustration I’ve had to deal with at...
Read moreMy experience with Ducati Miami was very pleasant. When I first arrived, my intent was to purchase a clutch pressure plate and clutch plates for my 1098s. Horatio was the first person I had run into and he was very nice and helpful in tending to my needs. After making the purchase, he brought to my attention the Ducati Miami riding club. With his help, I joined the club an am very excited to meet the members and partake in all of the clubs rides. Before I left I asked Horatio to assist me with proper jacket sizes. He offered a helping hand and explained to me how the gear should properly fit. Although I didn't make a purchase that day, the assistance that was first offered to me was nothing but exceptional. Before leaving the store, I browsed around to look at a few new bikes. Out of curiosity I wanted to know what I would receive if I traded in my bike to finance a new one. Horatio lead me to Hector in the finance department within the store. When I first met Hector he greeted me with a warm welcome, offered me water, coffee, and soda. While we sat down to talk numbers, Hector was very professional and efficient when answering any questions I had asked. He explained to me different options and banks I would be able to get my loans from as well as helping me find the best interest rates. He also gave me advice on what the most cost effective insurance companies were for the bike. If I had to rate his customer service on a scale of 1 to 10, his rating would receive a 10. Once everything was figured out and numbers were put into perspective, Hector told me Ducati was going to be whom I would be financing through if I decided to finance a new bike. The following day I had my bike appraised for a genuinely fair price given the circumstances. When I had decided to make the deal and finance the new bike, Hector sent my information in accordingly to Ducati. Unfortunately, this for me was a terrible experience, as I sat in the store from 11 am to 5 pm just so I could hear a yes or no answer. During this time Hector had called and emailed the gentlemen from Ducati's finance department a few times. The gentlemen, (I wish I knew his name because he was really bad), had replied back and said he would be reviewing the document shortly. I waited for another hour after, all for the gentlemen to decline my financing even though I had an "A" credit score. Hector then sent my information to other places for the financing to be approved. Hearing back with a prompt response, I was approved for financing of a 2014 1199 Panigale S. Hector took care of all the documents, I signed what I needed to sign, and went on my way right out the door with the bike. Aside from Ducati and their financing department, my experience was excellent. I would highly recommend this place to friends when it comes to quality service and the purchasing of a motorcycle and or trading one in. Based on this first experience I can truthfully say that the staff at Ducati from what I've seen so far has and will go above and beyond to help you out. They work for your best interests. I will be bringing my bike back for servicing soon. I will keep posting truthful reviews per experience I have there. So far so good! Please stay...
