I don't know the owner's name, but she is truly one of the kindest, most gentle souls I've ever met. I stumbled into this little mart at 777 NW 72nd Ave fresh off a plane for a business trip, tired and hungry, and she welcomed me like I was family.
She served me homemade food that was prepared with so much love it honestly felt like a warm hug on a plate. From that very first meal, I looked forward to seeing her every day. At one point, she even came into the convention to check on me and a few others who had stopped by her store before, just to make sure we'd eaten. That simple gesture meant so much, it was like having a Mom away from Mom, exactly what you don't realize you need until someone shows up with that kind of genuine care.
Her little market isn't big or fancy, but she somehow manages to have everything you could possibly think of. And if you ask nicely, she'll fix you a delicious homemade meal, complete with utensils and anything else you might need to keep you going.
If you find yourself in Miami, do yourself a favor and stop here. Whether you need snacks, a hot meal, or just a moment of kindness in a busy day, this place...and this wonderful woman, will absolutely lift your spirits.
Read moreThis is the most undiverse mall ive ever been in. Ive seen yard sales with more variety. Every other store literally sells jewelery. Ive never seen anything like it. And this place is huge with only 20% occupancy at best. 3rd floor is empty. 2nd floor is sparsly occupied. 1st floor might have 20 stores most of which sell the same stuff. They should shut the other 2 floors down and move everybody to the 1st in my opinion. For what its worth at least the stores staffs are friendly and the offered merchandise is worth a look. This is definately a female mall with only...
