El Espacio 23 — Attraction in Miami

This is the best art venue I've been to in a long time!

The collection is expansive and well curated. The works are well chosen and well presented. The selection is expansive in both style and range of artists. There are many artists who have not been shown in the US and it was a delight to see their work for the first time. It was also a delight to see little known, or older, works by artists who are well known in the US. The curators know how to group the pieces in ways that make historic and thematic sense.

The exhibition space is absolutely beautiful and it was great to be able to get close enough to the work to really SEE it. Nothing is roped off. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Thank you Jorge Pérez for purchasing and promoting art that has inherent merit. Too many collectors are concerned only with putting together a collection based on "name artists" or artists who are considered the "current hot thing."

Absolutely amazing space with incredible taste, great artists and great works. Mostly because it's a curated exhibition space which doesn't really happens with the also recently inaugurated neighbor Rubell "Museum" full of trophy artworks (great works but you know...)... You'll learn something new at El Espacio 23 and you unlikely learn anything at...

El Espacio 23 is the home of the Perez collection of the games Perez art museum. This space is in an off location about 10 miles from the Museum. Defitnetly worth the visit.
