Well, usually I never give bad reviews to any business I am dealing with but this time I feel it is my duty to share my worst purchase experience, most expensive and the biggest frustration I have endured with a vendor. I bought a brand new trailer from The Fud Trailer company. I gave very specific instructions to the company in regards to my business needs. My business is located in Montana and I specifically mentioned that the trailer needs to be strong enough to endure winter weather conditions. My first issue was a one month late delivery passed the promised due date and ever since I received the trailer I haven’t had one day of peace of mind. I had a lot of issues with the trailers appliances. The company uses the cheapest and the lowest quality products while charging the customer a premium. Therefore, I had to change the water pump three times. The serving window collapsed on my head because of the bad suspension rods, causing me to suffer persistent head and shoulder injuries. The gas pressure inside the trailer is inaccurate, causing dangerous conditions, the cheap magnet that is suppose to hold the doors for the fryers are not working anymore and that’s only one month after I purchased the trailer. The weight of the snow caused my roof to collapse causing a huge leak straight down the middle of the trailer making it impossible for me or my employees to work!! These are only some of the issues I’m having with the custom made trailer that the Fud Trailer built for me. Ever since I bought the trailer, I have tried to contact the company multiple times; emailing and texting, sending pictures and videos of the issues. None of them got me any response from the Fud trailer company. If I could give zero stars to this company, that’s what I would do, my recommendation would be to find another trailer company and be very careful . My trailer is working seasonally. I don't understand how this company is still in business. I have never seen anything like it, I tried to pick a trailer twice and they tried to make accept a trailer that was poorly manufactured since I refused to accept it I had to wait another 2 months the second trailer had scratches the door handle came off so the exterior did not look like a new trailer. When you look underneath the trailer plywood is exposed I don't want to extend myself but this company has no quality control. I'm still on a battle to recover my down payment. I waited patiently for over 5 months in order for them to get it righ . They keep hiring new sales people and none of them respond to your claims. I will not stop until I get it back. They get entrepreneurs that are desperate to start their food business. I have been involved in different types of businesses and I understand that people make mistakes but this is way beyond making mistakes they are just trying to rip people off. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this company. There are other manufacturers out there that can do a better job. Update: as of March of 2024 this franchise location changed ownership. It's been over one month since I spoke to a guy named Arturo, he claims to be the new owner, he was supposed to take care of this matter. He hasn't even bother to return any of my calls. They have no shame and they simply don't care. It's been a very frustrating experience. I guess the only way to deal with this company is by doing this through court. DONT DO IT. RUN AWAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE. This is possibly one of the biggest scams in the Food Trailer business. The quality of these trailers is the worst I’ve seen. Just Think DollarTree items, but worst. Their “warranty “ is a complete JOKE. I purchase mine and upon picking it up it already was having issues with the light and braking system. Had to wait hours for them to “fix it”. Upon inspection we noticed a loud noise coming from the water pump that comes and goes every few minutes, they told me it was normal from the pump. Later I found that the noise was due to a leak in one of the hoses. When I got back home we noticed one of the outdoor LED was not working. They offered to replace it if I drove 5 hours to them to get it fixed.they had told me before that I can get someone to fix it and give them the bill but they say in this case no because they have the light with them. Then noticed the Hood System had huge gap which is not normal and they said that since I passed the Health Inspection thats all they aim for so they will not fix it. Not even a week after having the trailer and without even using it, we were having a leak from the sink tanks. Again, no fix available from them. These are just some of the issue and they are still not responding!
