This place has some ok furnature but 90% looks too cheap but it's in sync with the price and to top that off the sales people are very unresponsive...in fact we walked in and spent about 30 minutes looking at the furnature and not one sales person even spoke to us but we could easily see 2 sales people texting on their phones...our budget was not limited to any furniture in this store but we decided if we wanted to spend 5k in a furniture store the least they could do is serve us better..with that said if your on a really tight budget and dont care about how your treated that store may be for you but expect very poor service but for the extra 300 difference a better choice would be Rooms to go or Ashley because they not only had nicer furniture but we were treated way better in terms of customer service....I think the Rana corporate should really evaluate their sales staff and restructure their views on how the managers train and condition their employees if they want to compete in the very competitive furniture space...Follow up....Today i received a response to my original rating....When i went to this store like i mentioned before the people there are poorly trained and the staff make you feel unimportant....when i buy something in any store i personally like the feel of feeling good about what i just bought and not meant to feel as if the staff could care less about asking something as simply as asking me weather i needed help and the two sales people that we're there that day we're on their phones texting god knows who but of course i'm a customer and what the staff doesn't understand is that they are there to serve me and make me feel as if i want to spend money there...i'm a customer and we're doing you a favor by even going there for RANA to have the privilege of me spending money there so i god all my new furniture somewhere else that treated me and my wife important and we are supper happy with our new furniture..While the furniture cost us a bit more we feel better about our purchase because we we're treated with respect and appreciation for us...
Read moreFirst off let me start by saying I never post reviews. Never. But after the way I was treated at Rana's furniture I needed to post this. I purchased small dining table at Rana, the cost was $400. I decided to pick it up, to avoid the $120 shipment charge. The sales rep told me that I could pick it up anytime between 10:00am-5:30pm. 3 days later (when I was moving into my apartment) I needed to pick up my table, I called their office more than 20 times, to get the address of where to pick it up. All I got was the voicemail (which stated they were going to be open until 5:30. Without an address I drove an hour back to their showroom, arriving there at 3:30pm, to get the address to pick up the table. They gave me the address, and said it was 10 minutes away. I started speeding over there. I called their office again and finally got them on the phone. I told them that i had been calling all day and I wasnt aware they had changed their pickup hours, I told them according to the GPS I would be 2 MINS late if they could hold the door. They said no if youre not here, than you will have to come back another day. I then asked for a refund for the table, to which she said i needed to go back to the showroom. I turned around and went back to the showroom, when i arrived I asked the sales rep to speak to a manager, he said that the manager was in the bathroom, I told him id wait. After a few minutes the same sales rep came back and said that actually the manager stepped out for lunch, and asked if he could help me. I told him what had happened. The sales rep said ok and turned around, then came back and said actually the manager is out of town and wont be back for 2 weeks, I would have to return then. THEY ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, MORONIC, INCOMPETENT, PEOPLE. best advice i can give GO TO CITY FURNITURE BETTER FURNITURE, BETTER SALES PEOPLE, BETTER PRICES. DO...
Read moreWent to Rana in search of a couch and dining table. After looking around we started working with Francis… After filling out our details on the computer and just about getting ready to pay, we were told there were no more of the couches in stock, however we could take the couch on the floor for the same price LOL. So needless to say we did not take the couch and solely went with the dining table set. We had set the delivery date and all with the sales person Francis. The delivery date comes around and nobody has called nor texted us. So I reach out to Francis and she states the delivery will not be arriving the date we had set because we were in a north delivery zone and they didn’t have any other orders up in that area (why is that my problem???). She promises it’ll be there next weekend. What happens next weekend? The same thing. Order does not get delivered and I’m very frustrated at this point. And again nobody calls or emails to let us know it won’t be coming so I have no idea and had arranged for people to be there as we are out of town. I call once again and ask to speak to a manager at this point. I speak to Roberto who is very nice and assures me he will look into the order and give me a call back. As promised he gives me a call back and tells me the orders were never delivered because we didn’t answer the phone to confirm the delivery date. Mind you there is no proof of attempts as neither of the phone numbers we gave had ANY messages/calls from unknown numbers. I will say after he “confirmed” the delivery date in the system it was there the following week. However he also promised me a free light fixture that never made its way to me because everything is “out of stock” at the warehouse. Cheap company, lazy associates, do better or make sure you do not do delivery with them. Once you swipe your card they do not...
