This is my staple! I have lived in this neighborhood since 1979! No better place to go for Cuban food! Yes even better than Versailles. My favorite is Bistec empanizado (breaded steak). And when I'm away, this is exactly what I crave! The steak is thin, the breading is Cuban cracker meal, it's fabulous! The steak is also HUGE they usually have to fold it over on the plate. I get it with maduros (sweet plantains) and white rice. Their white rice is bomb! BTW nothing here is diet (or vegetarian), so throw that out the window! I got take out the other day and the portion of rice was enough for days! I also love the tortilla (omelette) with onions, peppers, and tomatoes. The tortilla (yes that's what Cubans call omelettes) with fries (these are meh, could be good or not, ask for them fresh) and Cuban coffee for breakfast/brunch is delicious. I bring all my friends to this, it's so good. Ropa vieja (shredded beef in a **light** tomato sauce) is divine. My friend from North Florida insists I take her every time she visits. Oh and the Cuban sandwich. Best in Miami, hands down. HIGHLY recommended! This photo is after my mother and I ate our portion! We each had a three inch strip of steak and a ball of rice!

I have always considered this to be a better than avarage typical Cuban spot. Please see the picture I posted of the scalding hot milk in the large plastic pitchers. I am trying to be safe with plastics and the chemicals they are known to leak out into liquids such as BPA. I am pretty sure the milk is supposed to be scalded or boiled in metal containers. You can guess what my cafe con leche tasted like. Latin American Resturant please keep me safe.

Great little local restaurant in the west Miami/Coral Gables area. We just stopped in to kill some time before an appointment. We had items out of their bakery cases. Everything was tasty. We tried the pan da bono, cookies croquettes, and flan. The flan was smooth and delicious, not too sweet . The two staff members who helped me knew very little or no English, but were very accommodating to serve my party and try.

This morning, I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Luis Galindo Latin America Restaurant, and it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect start to our day.

The menu offered a fantastic variety of traditional Latin American breakfast dishes, and we were spoiled for choice. I opted for the classic Cuban breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The café con leche was rich and smooth, a perfect complement to the hearty, flavorful meal. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the side of crispy bacon was just the right amount of indulgence. My dining companions raved about the croquetas and the freshly made Cuban toast, which was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.

What really stood out, though, was the authenticity of the flavors. Every bite transported us to the heart of Latin America, reminding us of the rich culinary traditions that make this cuisine so special. It’s rare to find a place that feels like a home away from home, but Luis Galindo Latin America Restaurant managed to do just that.

If you're looking for a spot that offers more than just great food, but also an experience filled with warmth, authenticity, and genuine hospitality, then I highly recommend starting your day at Luis Galindo Latin America Restaurant. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts, eager to return and explore more of their...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Luis Galindo Latin Restaurant and I must commend the outstanding service provided by our waitress, Elieth. From the moment we were seated, Elieth greeted us with a warm smile and genuine hospitality that set the tone for a delightful dining experience.

Throughout the meal, Elieth demonstrated exceptional attentiveness, ensuring that our drinks were always topped up and that we had everything we needed. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she offered helpful recommendations that enhanced our dining choices.

What truly stood out was Elieth's professionalism and genuine care for our satisfaction. Despite the restaurant being busy, she never once made us feel rushed, taking the time to check on us regularly and ensuring that each course was served promptly and flawlessly.

Elieth's attention to detail and personalized service truly elevated our dining experience. Her friendly demeanor and dedication to providing top-notch service reflect positively on [restaurant name], and she is undoubtedly an asset to your team.

I would highly recommend the restaurant to friends and family, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Elieth. I look forward to returning soon and experiencing her...

I would have put the atmosphere was better but waitresses were throwing the chairs around stacking them up after we had just gotten there and started eating. We got there at 11:30 when the maps app says it closes at 1:00 a.m. I asked our waitress and she didn't apologize and said the place actually closes at 11:00 and that it hasn't been fixed. We heard her talking to another waitress using profanity talking about another customer that she had a problem with. The place charges you $0.25 per box for takeout or leftovers. They charge $1.45 for not paying cash. She never informed me of any of this. I found out because I looked at the receipt so hopefully you look at it. Thankfully they did not include the tip but suggest at least 15%. She forgot to bring my Coke and when I mentioned it at the end, with an attitude she said if I would have remembered and told her she would have brought it to me. Incredible! It's pretty obvious the reason that the waitresses treat the customers the way they do is because THEY KNOW No one is looking at these reviews because notice how no one responds to them. I recommend if anyone has a complaint that you talk to the manager at the moment or call the restaurant because no one looks at...
