I have always came here to send money through Western Union. I always go in the evening and have never had a problem; it’s always fast and easy. The other day I decided to go in the morning and let me just say; never again! There were 2 people in front of me, one behind. After waiting for about 15 minutes I look at the time and it was 10:13 AM. With two people in front of me and two people working on the register, I left that place at 11:53 AM. Ridiculous!! I can understand that some employees are slow to work but those two ladies there did not know how to do their job. I go at least four times a month to send through there and after taking so long to attend everybody to come and tell me that one, my number is not registered, ok, two, that where is Belize?, “is that a country”, if you dont know the place it doesnt mean that it doesnt exist. I had to to spell it out and explain what Belize was for them to go to the computer and put it in. Hello! Why don’t they try to search for the place first instead of interrogating me in disbelief and wasting my time. Last, they were unable to make my transfer at the beginning because ACCORDING TO THEM the recipient’s name was incorrect.... So now they know when a name is wrong or right? They asked me if I knew the person I was sending money to and if I was sure of the name. That is not your business, just do your job and stop trying to tell the customer what to do because first of all that attitude wasn’t even necessary. Mind you that I am writing this review but the whole time that I was at the store I was patient and even left saying please and thank you; they didn’t even say you’re welcome. I had to search for an old receipt to prove that I had sent money through there before and also call Belize just so they can send a picture of the ID that shows proof of their name. After so much bs the supervisor figured it out and was able to make the transfer. So disappointed of the service they have here in the morning; never ever going back there...
Read moreWhen you go to shop at any Sedanos, you know the employees are going to be rude. Period. There are imported products that Sedanos offers that you can't find in others supermarket chains. However, I'm going to take the time to address an incident with the female employee working at the deli counter, Sedanos 8th St. Just few days ago. She was so rude beyond words. She should find a job at a women penitentiary facility. Lol BTW - left your store at 8th street and went to Sedanos at 37 Ave and they did have the products. Managerial situ there? Oh well. ...
Read moreNot bad for a Sedanos. The main reason to visit when I lived here was for the Cafecito Cubano and the occasional grocery plunge. It's not hard to find good Cuban food anywhere around SW8, but if you're looking for something to prepare yourself or a particular item, this is a great spot to get it.
Parking can be difficult, but not that bad.
Little Havana has took a turn for the worse over the years, so be alert as this is not in the best area and security is non-existent: this is the reason for the 3 stars as they should consider that many...
