I think there are two types of people who write reviews - the people who get paid to do so and the people who feel very strongly about what they’re reviewing. I am definitely the latter and, I have to say, there are very few things I can say changed my life. A friend of mine recommended me to this place for a facial and of course I went because she has the most beautiful clear skin and she sold me on a dream. I first went to Chantel about three months ago. And have done two brightening facials and a week or two ago my first chemical peel. My face isn’t perfect yet but the results I’ve seen in three months with the facials I’ve received based on her recommendation and expertise have brought my face to near perfection- no exaggeration. I’ve struggled with dark spots, blemishes and whiteheads for a very long time and it feels SO good to not have to wear makeup all the time now. I love my face and that’s literally only after three months (still have some dark spots but it’s a work in progress.) I had sun spots, wrinkles, blemishes, black heads, white heads, large pores, etc. I live on the beach and I work night life so sun and makeup ruin my skin pretty badly and I’m not as diligent as I should be. I can’t wait to go back to Chantel - she is literally the best and I would very much like to marry her and have perfect skin babies. She knows what she’s doing, she is very thorough, and ALWAYS checks up on me after each facial and answers my questions at any time of the day lol Aside for the customer service it’s the RESULTSSSSS! I went in for a acne consultation and “treatment” and It has officially been 2 weeks with my appointment with Chantell. Apparently what I paid for comes with a 2 week “check-in” via FaceTime since I do not reside in Miami. I have not received that nor have I heard back from her at all...While I did find the Face Reality products she sold me reputable, the treatment I received from her was disappointing to say the least. The main problem I had with this service is that after applying a “acne peel”, she preformed one of the most painful “extractions” I’ve ever experienced. SHE NEVER STEAMED MY FACE (before or after) and I let her know it was painful and she continued. After, I looked in the mirror and my face was SO inflamed and BLEEDING. All she did was hand me a pad to wipe the blood off. The next two days the pimples she extracted were still irritated, red, inflamed and eventually left a scar. So disappointed because I feel like my need for a solution was taken advantage of. I paid her $200 for a bunch of info I could have googled and a very painful extraction.
