I am not even upset that they couldn't fix my watch. I was simply blown away by the nastiness of the person who runs the place! I have an early 80's pulsar that the movement is discontinued on. There is no replacement to be ordered. My hour hand was getting stuck at 11:00 and deemed unfixable, so I purchased an entire duplicate of the same watch on ebay with cosmetic damaged and swapped the movements myself (I am not a professional just an amateur) my only remaining issue was the one I now had installed the stopwatch function was stuck on and killed the battery too quick. I could turn it off after a few button pushes but then it would turn back on with some movement while on my wrist. I assumed a contact was stuck but once again i am not a professional so I brought it in to one. I explained this all upon dropping it off and when told it was fixed I was thrilled. He explained it had a new battery, a full tune up, oil and cleaning. I'm not saying it couldn't have used it so whatever. I picked it up and the chronograph function didn't work. I asked about it and he said oops I guess he missed that. (The main issue) I can clean, oil and change batteries myself if needed so $160 was rough for not fixing the thing it came in for, but I smiled and asked him to call me when it's 100%. I returned after a text message that it was fixed. Upon walking in he told me the second hand could not be fixed. I said that's the source of the issue then he yelled at me that I came in with a watch that wasn't working and now it is so that wasn't the issue. He scolded me that how dare I say he doesn't know how an item comes into his shop and he knows the details of everything he checks in. Mind you I had not said one word in a tone other than hopeful as this watch is sentimental, I even asked if he could refer me to anyone. He yelled that if I don't want to pay then don't pay! (I had my wallet in my hand hoping he would tell me he could send it to someone else) I explained I am not after stiffing him on payment, I just want to get my watch fixed and I know what I brought in and had worked on myself so far. He yelled at me for calling him a liar and told me don't pay just leave! I then looked at the watch in my hand and not only was the stop watch function not working but the other smaller second hand was not working, the time was wrong and the watch was dead again from the same problem it came in with! But I got yelled at that it had been fixed after coming in not working. Liar and a scammer. Tried to do basic service like I didn't know what I was talking about and then treated me in an absolutely unprofessional way. I could not express how stunned I was. I do not like to loose my cool so I bit my tongue and walked right out. I will tell everyone I know not to visit this place. I would have sadly, but understandably accepted "sorry we couldn't fix your watch" but he didn't even take the time to look at it before he handed it back to me and began to berate me to tell it wasn't keeping time let alone hold a civil conversation! Do not deal with this business! Or do and let them charge you and lie about the...
Read moreWould HIGHLY recommend. The owner Aydin is an absolute gentleman. My brother has been going to him for a couple of years now. I wanted a Celtic knot pendant and chain. We went to 3 other places just because my brother wanted me to see how fair and honest Aydin is. Every place I went to, even after I told them what I was as looking for they just told me they have something better and would try to sell cheap jewelry I wasn’t interested in and gave me insane prices on what I was actually in the market for. When I walked into this place and spoke with Aydin I knew right away he wasn’t a sales man trying to get over on me. I got a custom Celtic knot from him and when it came in I was absolutely blown away. When I went to pick it up, Aydin asked if I wanted to try it on there and check the length of the chain. It was a little bit long so I was going to have him shorten it and expected to pick it up a day or 2 later. He did it right than and there and didn’t even charge me. I couldn’t be happier with Aydin and his jewelry store. Honest, fair very good at...
Read moreI have a costume jewelry necklace that was broken. I had a wedding to attend that I wanted to wear the necklace to. I saw jewelry repair and design on the net and decided to take my necklace there. Aydin, the owner of the company was in the store. He carefully looked at my necklace and said he would try to fix it. I told him that I needed it for a wedding that was soon approaching and he made a note of the date. The week before the wedding I received a call that my necklace was finished. I went to pick it up and was delighted at how well it had been repaired. Aydin said he had used a laser to fix it. I was very grateful that he had used his skill and resources that were usually expended on much more precious jewelry on my necklace whose value was mostly sentimental. I came away with a very positive impression of Aydin as a skillful, honest and...
