DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse — Local services in Holmdel Township

Recently had a very bad experience here and was treated so nastily and unprofessionally by a manager or assistant manager that made a scene behind the desk I was thoroughl mortified. I did not get her name but she was an African American, skinny girl and started yelling at me with a whole line of people behind me telling me that a transaction that I've made 10-20 times in the past could not be done. I told her that I've had this transaction performed in the past and all that needed was to be overrided by a manager and she insisted that she could not do it. But the nastiness that I experienced and the dirty looks and raised voice was so obviously unprofessional and lacking any shred of knowledge of customer service. I will never return to this store because I was treated so poorly and I suggest you do the same. I would go out of my way and go to the Eatontown location to avoid this office at all costs. Someone as miserable and confrontational toward her customers should not be employed in a role such as this. It was downright embarrassing and it was obvious that this person had absolutely no knowledge of her job role or how to deal with customer's

Someone like this should not be in this role or any other customer facing role. If I didn't walk out when I did I quite frankly I think she could have followed me in the parkway and tried to have a physical fight. She was 100% wrong with regard to this transaction and if looks could kill I'd be dead. It's time you have a complete overhaul of your staff...

I love the choice of shoe styles. The reason I gave them a 3 star is because of their customer service. They didn't have a certain shoe in my size so they said I can get my size from another store. It would only take 2 days and since I was a VIP customer it was free shipping. Well my shoes never came until 2 weeks later. They were shipped to the wrong address. They were suppose to be worn for a wedding. Well that never happened. I had to rush back to pick out and pay for a new pair of shoes.since my other pair didn't come in time. Good selection, but I went there today because they sent me an email offer today that stated spend $29 on kids and get a free art kit. So I figured great let's go get BTS sneakers. When I paid they said the offer ended yesterday. I replied, "then why are they sending emails out about it today?" Of course I got the typical answer, "I don't know." So after speaking to a Mgr, I found out that they were just packing them up to send back to corporate, and after I balked, they got me one from the back that had been boxed up. They should have waited until tomorrow to do this of course since the offer was valid...
