Unless you order the cheese steak pizza I'd stay away. I ordered a ham and provolone sub, it was delivered 55 minutes later and was salami and provolone.... I order their cheese steak pizza weekly which comes with peppers and onions so I decided to try their cheese steak sub. It was only cheese and steak. That should be specified since there c.s. pizza comes with peppers and onions and considering there is NO menu to check online, nor have I EVER been given a menu when I order. I live 3 blocks away so i order for convenience. Little things also worth mentioning that the delivery person typically comes without a pen when I ALWAYS pay with debit and the last time he forgot my soda, didn't have my receipt to sign and made some lame excuse that he wasn't an actual driver... Looks like I'll start ordering from Lucisano's in Keansburg again. It comes quicker and is better quality... just a shame cause there cheese steak pizza is really good. BTW, them considering they were rectifying the situation was them telling me they'd fix the salami sandwich only and it would take about another hour cause of the roads... it's flurrying out.... I have 5 people here and planned on eating together. So they ALLEDGE to credit me for half a sub. How, Idk!? She didn't even mention how. They also don't sell chips or 2 liter sodas...
Read moreYesterday we ordered 1 Spaghetti and Meatballs and 2 Antipasto. When the food arrived, right off the bat we had noticed numerous hairs in the spaghetti and meatballs. I instantly called Palumbo's asking for an antipasto to replace the spaghetti only to be handed off to a manger who told me they will only send a new plate of spaghetti and meatballs. I said this would be fine as long as it is a new batch of spaghetti. They confirmed it would be fresh and rudely hung up the phone on me. They delivered the replacement dish shortly after. And what do you know, still hair. My fiancé is a chef. I asked him what it could be or if it looked like hair. He confirmed to me there should not be anything fiberous or hair present. My wife tried to order the delivery on the phone, the clerk didn't seem to understand even the simple word. She had to repeat the address and the menu over and over again, from time to time she had to wait about 30 seconds, the staff seem to said hold on, she need to do something.
Admittedly my wife's not a native speaker but she had no this kind of situation with other shops or any other situations. I felt strange and I took the phone, told the staff my address and menu again, and I asked what's the problem. Now she seem to got the order properly. Am I native or much fluent? I don't think so. I think high pitch makes things...
