Have to give this review one star so maybe it will get attention and hopefully management will see it. Whoever is in charge at that theater needs to fix whatever is wrong with the butter for the popcorn before it turns into a bigger issue. People are getting sick from it! Me and my friend went a few months ago to see It Ends with Us, we both got popcorn and used the butter machine and became very sick that night and it lasted until the next day. At first I thought maybe we just caught a stomach but or something but then I remembered when we were in the theater an abnormal amount of people kept getting up to use the bathroom (at least that’s where I’m assuming they went) and I put it together maybe they were getting sick as well. The bathroom always smells like poo so I’m assuming people are constantly having to use it bc the butter is making them sick. Since it was that one time I let it go and figured maybe it was a coincidence, maybe it was something else, there was no way to be sure. Until last night when me and my same friend went there to see Wicked and the same exact thing happened! As soon as I got home I was sick in the bathroom all night and it lasted until today! She was the same way, and again several people were leaving our theater way more than usual! I met up with some family today and mentioned it to them and my sister in law mentioned how all her kids got super sick after eating the popcorn from there and it’s happened several times! One thing I noticed when I got my butter yesterday is that it seems like it’s a thickier consistency then most theaters a lot more yellow as well, my guess is maybe it’s not hot enough and that’s causing people to get sick! Regardless of the reason this is no longer a coincidence and I’m sure we are not the only people getting sick from the butter. Whether I’m wrong or right I suggest management check the butter and figure out whatever it is that making people sick. Because if it’s not just a temperature thing and it’s negligence due to poor cleaning habits and carelessness this will be a bigger problem for you all in the future. My suggestion is figure it out before more people make the same...
Read moreI love this theater. The seats are comfortable, big and recline nicely. Because of the setup, it's impossible to be blocked by someone's head in front of you (and for someone who's pretty short, it's great). After every showing, it's nice to see their workers wipe down the seats and make certain they are clean. I can't tell you how great this is; my niece once picked up head lice from AMC theaters, so since then I've always been wary of laying my head on any seats without a hood (sad, really). AMC has seats that are made with materials that lice can easily cling to, and that can't be wiped down or cleaned easily. In fact, they don't ever seem to be cleaned at AMC. This theater is usually very clean and their workers are usually fairly pleasant. Their prices are nice during the day, as well. The one bad thing? Because of the new seating, there is less space than before and they now have a setup where you must pick your seat prior to going into the theater. This makes having to worry about someone taking your seat if you get up for the bathroom a thing of the past, but sadly it also can make the waiting time to buy a ticket pretty long if you go there during busier times (it can be hard to even get a seat at all during those times, too). Still, this is a great theater. I haven't gone back to AMC in so long and don't...
Read moreIt’s not fair that some kids should be able to ruin it for all!!! Some of us raise our children to have respect and not act like idiots!!! Bought tickets at Regal for my 13 year old Son and his two friends to go see the Minecraft movie only to find out that there’s a curfew past 6:00pm that was not stated on the website when I bought the tickets. On top of that, apparently they won’t refund the booking fees for buying advance tickets online. I called and the employee tried telling me that it pops right up on the website when you buy tickets, but it doesn’t. That’s a big fat lie. It says nothing about a 6:00pm curfew. I’m not the only person who experienced this because there were other kids up there who also got turned away and had to wait for their parents to come back and get them. It’s really sad that you can’t even drop your teenager at the movie theater anymore. Unless of course it’s before 6:00pm!!! This policy is completely ridiculous!!! They have no problem charging them for adult ticket prices though!!! These kids aren’t allowed to do anything. Can’t even give them a little bit of independence…...
