Pho 79 Langhorne PA — Restaurant in Middletown Township

It’s not your typical mall foodcourt place. and we’re so happy to find an authentic Vietnamese place nearby. We ordered 2 pho P5 (steak & flank) and P7 (brisket & meatball). The broth tasted fragrant, a little on the sweeter side typical of Southern Vietnam and meat cuts were tender. As a Vietnamese, I could tell they put a lot of work into sourcing the right cut and try to stay as authentic as they can. Both soup came pipping hot with all the required herbs and condiments. The only slight critique is the noodle was blanched in hot water and sat in a bowl for a while before they added the hot soup and when it got to us, the noodles stuck together in the bottom of the bowl and broke as I loosen it up. This was an easy fix though so I didn’t deduct a star. Other than that, great foods, amazing service. Newer restaurant just opened a month so giving them some grace as they start. They made our day by giving my toddler a little bowl and her own spoon and fork so I can give her some of my noodles so it’s not too hot (customary in our culture).
