Absolutely in love with this store. The store had a fun AND clean atmosphere, which I feel is missing a lot in the comic book industry, which makes shopping here a pleasant experience. While they carry the top players, there is a strong focus on independent titles. With the kid corner and fantasy novels on the back wall, I feel like there is really something for everyone. This is a shop you can bring your partners that are less interested in comics and they will probably still find something they’ll like. The game room in the back really shows the love, care and attention to detail that was put into creating a community hub. And you really can’t beat the friendliness of the staff. I never miss a chance to visit the shop when I’m in the area. Put this on your list for your next day...

The shop is clean, spacious, and well lit. I felt so comfortable walking around and exploring everything. Chris, Jessica, and their staff are so kind and knowledgeable. They are available to answer any questions you may have. They also let you peruse without hovering. It is just so comfortable there. They have so many things, including books, candles, MTG, and boardgames. You can also rent their back room to run your own RPG's. My only complaint is that it is impossible to leave there without buying something. They just have so much fun stuff. Overall, it is simply a fantastic shop, and I'm so glad...
Read moreMiddletown has a new rare gem in Crooked Dog! This store has a certain heart that you rarely see in stores anymore. The staff are all wonderful, personable and make you feel like you're coming home the moment you walk through the door. No matter what you're looking for, comics, board games, or a place to gather for fun organized events like FNM or D&D, Crooked Dog has it. They have even given my 6 yr old a new love of comics. I could not recommend this place more. Thank you Chris and Jessica for giving our community back a sense of small-town feel. If you haven't gone to Crooked Dog yet, I don't know what's...
