BEWARE: if you don’t live near a clementines you will regret it! Was stationed in Rhode Island and decided to try clementines. My wife is a huge ice cream fan and I could care less but always appreciate something good. Let me tell you, this ice cream at clementines is hands down the best ice cream we will ever taste. It’s been 6 months and 13 days since our last visit and it’s all we think about when it comes to ice cream. We tried over half the menu in the year we were there and NOTHING disappointed, but the Oreo really hit the spot for me (my wife liked the peanut butter cup the most and the kids enjoyed all of them) Sounds like a good thing right?? Well, sure. Then you leave the area. NOTHING COMES CLOSE. Every bite of non-clementines ice cream is just a reminder of what you don’t have anymore. My wife and I no longer even yearn for ice cream because if it isn’t clementines, it’s just a waste of time. We’ve had really good ice cream in a lot of places, but let me assure you, those will all become a distant second. It is the worse to want something, be reminded of it, and be unable to get it.
Even if I could get pints delivered in other states I know it doesn’t beat going to their locations, smelling the waffle cones/bowls, and getting their ice cream “fresh.” Our only real option is to go back to Rhode Island and get more in store! While airline tickets are kinda cheap here and there, it still is painfully difficult to get that ice cream fix that now ONLY clementines can satisfy.
Do yourself a favor, be prepared to know this will be the pinnacle of ice cream delight, and if you’re not ready to peak, hold off until you’ve got a good supply line for the clementines goodness. 1 star for ruining every other ice cream experience for me!
Clementines leadership: Make the ice cream a little worse so it’s not all I think about when I eat other ice creams or open more locations worldwide if you want 5 stars. Until then I’m just forever remembering “the good ole days” when I could at least believe something better might...
Read moreThis is a cute little place with an exceptionally limited menu. Sadly, I was disappointed from the start solely because of the selection. That said, the ice cream was delicious no matter what. 😋🍨 I had a black raspberry with chocolate sprinkles. My friend got a butter pecan, I believe it was that. It was an old fashioned flavor she really enjoyed. We both were VERY happy and only disappointed with our limited options.
The most surprising part of my visit there was it was a bit dirty, especially the bathroom. It speaks volumes to a patron when they see filth along the walls and floors on such a small establishment. Interesting enough there was several employees hanging around, doing just about nothing- even offering to help serve me seemed to be a big feat. I had to ask a group of 4 girls to stop talking so that I could get an ice cream as my friend need was having hers made up. I think management should require them to do a bit more, more service, more cleaning on their downtime since they're paying for several employees to sit around to do nothing at times. I was there early and it was not at all busy. We actually had to wipe down the table that we say at to eat. Sad how dirty it was in the middle of the afternoon with no help.
Everybody working was kind but exceptionally chatty amongst themselves. I certainly don't need to hear their specific details of their life as I'm sitting waiting for them to ask if I am getting an ice cream. Anway, as I mentioned I didn't think it was very clean or tidy in spots that it should have been, they are young and see work differently with minimal watch they will get away with whatever they can. Nonetheless, I think you'll get good ice cream with the small group of choices that they have.

Read moreAmazing ice cream flavors! We tried Mint Oreo, Chocolate Brownie, Peach, and Butter Brickle in waffle cones.
The girls here are super friendly, knowledgeable about their product, and fun to interact with.
They make their cones in-house right in front of you and are very fresh. This caused a little ice cream leakage and sadly the loss of part of my amazing cone, but don't let that stop you from trying them because they taste superb.
The Mint Oreo was creamy, refreshing and had a huge amount of cookie in it! We loved this flavor! The Chocolate Brownie had the perfect chocolate flavor, the chunks of brownie were good sized and we're consistently found throughout the ice cream. The peach was good, but if you were hoping for chunks of peach that wasn't what this one offered. It was more of a peach puree that was churned with the cream. The girl did tell me they had a non-dairy peach, which I wish I had tried because this was almost more a peaches and cream, heavier on the creamy side. The Butter Brickle was fantastic. It reminded me of the butterscotch pudding I used to eat as a child. It had praline bits in it too. We were sad they weren't open for breakfast this morning. A waffle with a scoop of ice cream on top I am sure would be a great seller! Also would have bought a sweatshirt if they had them. Would be more than happy to advertise this business.
We can't wait to come back here again sometime, and were sad that TS Elsa causes us to drive home before they...
