Mission Burger is an absolute gem, perfectly nestled in the Newport Beach area of Middletown, RI, just steps from the Atlantic Beach Hotel, Easton Beach, and a short drive to 2nd Beach. The location makes it an ideal stop whether you’re wrapping up a beach day or just craving something exceptional.

I never thought bean sprouts on a burger with bacon and onions would work, but this place proved me wrong in the best possible way. The combination was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — the crisp sprouts adding just the right crunch to the juicy, savory burger. The patty itself was cooked to perfection, and the bacon brought that smoky richness that tied everything together. Their fries are another standout — golden, crispy, and seasoned just right, the kind you can’t stop eating.

Mission Burger also offers an impressive drink selection, from cold beer and wine to seltzers and hard canned cocktails, making it a relaxed spot to enjoy a casual meal with friends or family. Prices are decent — a bit on the higher side — but given the quality, creativity, and generous portions, it’s absolutely worth it.

We were staying in Newport during a rainy weekend and looking for some take out. Very hard to find as location is dark outside and poor use of signs. Off the beaten path.

First time there and hand written menu difficult to read. Ordered (2) burgers and back to our room we went to find order was incorrect. If one thing is quite annoying it would be to get back home and find an incorrect order at a tune of almost $30 for burgurs!!! Beware of the lettuce which turned out to be a mixture of 4 leaf clover and blades of grass. Not sure about their definition of lettuce as our grocery store carries something a bit different.

The worse part of our experience would be the customer service when we called back to express our dissatisfaction. Management skills, terrible! The correct answer and solution to this problem would of been to offer a partial refund which we asked for or credit on next visit. The incorrect response that was given was questioning our motivation for calling as the order was completed correctly and mistakes don't happen.

Quite a bit of establishments in the area and competition , better service is out there so good luck with that! This place gives a bad name to the small business, aka Mom & Pop Shops vs. the larger chains educated and trained with...

Really wanted this place to be good. Placed our order and came out to about $55 with a tip. 2 burgers, 2 hotdogs and small thing of French fires. Server behind the counter cut off my order before i finished and submitted it to the kitchen. Told her we were ordering together. Since she submitted the order the other half “the burgers” never printed.. after already waiting about 15 min when we were told... okay I get it life happens. But then the food... it was terrible. I ordered a medium on the burger.... it was not. It was rare in the center - it was also this terrible pasty color. It doesn’t seem like any color was on them - I mean pale.
