I found what I was looking for at Goodwill. For a second hand store, Goodwill has a lot of stuff including a variety of items that are not regular inventory that you might not expect to find until you go inside and look. The other reason I like Goodwill is that they accept donations that are in reasonably good or better condition. If you donate during the store's business hours, you can opt to receive a receipt for your donated item with your estimated dollar value on the receipt if you can use that for any tax purposes. Also, when you donate during the stores business hours they will offer you an in-store $5.00 off coupon for short term use. After store and business hours, You can still donate at their Drive-up covered Donation! Center where you can place your donated items inside the wood perimeter pallet area that is convenient. Just don't leave donations outside there in bad rainy weather, especially not on a rainy Saturday night because they wouldn't be tended to before Monday morning and if items are drenched or very wet, they aren't acceptable, plus that's more work for the Goodwill Donations Processing Team to discard heavy wet stuff into the dumpsters. Each week, I sort through my storage bins, keep 1 or 2 items, load the mostly full bins in my car and go straight to Goodwill. They say, If you haven't worn or used something in 6 months or a year or it's in just repair it should be donated or discarded. It's not worthy to me to try to sell this stuff online and I can't have a yard sale because I live in an apartment so I just need the stuff to disappear from my life. Other items are very easy to make that donation decision because if I don't know how it got there and especially if I don't even know what it is or how it got here if it's something that maybe someone can use, that's a donation. I've even purchased second hand items that I may not be sure what it is but it's something that I can use for a purpose. I like to be able to use things for different purposes other than what they were originally made for. I should share these secrets to Hints...
Read moreI love going in on Wednesdays and looking for books missing from my collections. The gentleman that stocks the books is very meticulous about getting them in order and I know I appreciate him doing it!
Because of the books I continue to go back. The prices are a bit high for 2nd hand goods, some that are in such bad shape they should not have been put on the floor. Several of the cashiers are friendly but there are two that are just plain sour. The books keep me going back along with a rare gem I find...

I come back with the receipt and the movie and they’re telling me that they won’t return it and it does not play I tried it on a PlayStation five and a Blu-ray player. The movie will not play. It says disc is damaged and they will not return it. Terrible do not risk buying any movies from this location, terrible customer...
