Starbucks — Restaurant in Middletown

Somehow every time I come here something gets messed up and nobody working there cares at all. Today I got a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso, which I get often, so I know what it usually tastes like. Right as I grabbed it I could tell it wasn’t going to be correct because it wasn’t filled anywhere near the top and it was far too dark a color. I can usually tolerate if something is made with not quite enough milk or sweetener, but this tasted like it had absolutely no brown sugar flavor or sweetness to it all. It seems they were going too fast and didn’t add the syrup or fill it to the top. I hate complaining at restaurants, but it was undrinkable. I tried to tell the workers that they probably forgot to put the syrup and asked if they could possibly remake it. They took my cup from me and poured it in a bigger cup and added the syrup, then poured it into my original cup. The worker passive aggressively told me that next time I want extra flavor I need to order it that way, not acknowledging that it possibly could have been made wrong. I was also under the impression that they weren’t allowed to take drinks back and try to fix them, but they did anyway because I guess they didn’t want to take the time to make it right the first time or take the time to remake it correctly. Anyway, I tried to be nice, but I really hated being chastised for wanting the drink to be made the way it’s...

i’d give zero stars, such horrible service. have never been to a starbucks where the workers hated their job more. asked for three tall hot chocolates and said that my brother would be coming in a second with a water as well. he wouldn’t let me wait for my brother so i had asked if the two smalls could just be put into a bigger cup for easier carrying since we had a baby with us even tho we already paid. he refused to let us get a bigger cup and rudely responded with “no we can’t do that here”. my brother asked if he could go ahead and order a couple other things to eat seeing as nobody else was there he shortly asked what he wanted. the young man was so rude about having a second order and then anything my brother asked for they didn’t have anymore and then after everything refused to let him buy the water bottle with his order and made him go through the separate check out for just a water. while i was waiting i heard the other girls working complaining about having to make so many hot chocolates. somebody else finally got in line after us and they got their multiple drinks before we even got one of ours. i would have said something to the man working but he left immediately after saying a snarky comment to his co workers about how WE were being rude. horrible service. nobody knows how to just go to work...

Well today, as I observed a buy one get one deal, this Starbucks was busy. I knew I would have to wait but not on the terms of one of the individuals working. As I approached the counter, the dark haired lady with braided pigtails stated to me, it would be a few MINUTES. People starting lining up behind me and before you knew it, there were 5-6 of us. Someone who appeared to be her boyfriend, approached the counter and she stopped what she was doing to chit chat with him, again, when it was clearly busy. The other individual was taking out trash and then started restocking cups. Yes, there are still 5-6 people waiting in line behind me. At this point, Ms. Pigtails stated, "those people are gonna have to wait while we get caught up." Uh no. "Those people", need to be addressed and served. It was at this point I decided to leave. I had already been standing there for 5 minutes and wasnt going to waste more time while they "caught up". Don't run a promo if you are incapable of keeping up with the demand. This Starbucks tends to be slow and I tried to go to them on a whim, well pity. I'll stick to staying away, although I consume coffee everyday....
