This is a paved flat trail and is located behind the various houses and apartments in that area. Somewhere along the trail it forks off to another trail that I think brings you directly into the neighborhood the trail is behind.
This trail is dog friendly -there are people walking, skating, running, and on bikes. So it's best to be mindful and keep to the right hand side. I did enjoyed my walk through this trail but I will say it did seem a little envading since the fencing that encloses some of the houses are falling apart and you can see into the neighboring backyards. Parking gives this review the minus 1 star. When I googled directions it sent me to an apartment complex and there didn't seem to be parking specifically for the trail so it didn't seem right parking there. I also didn't want the possibility of having my car towed. So I took the advice of another reviewer and parked at the tail end of the trail.

Read moreIt’s a peaceful little stroll. There’s a spot you can fork off and find an abandoned bridge over the Mattabesset. With that said, I think the trail itself was designed for the people who live on Westlake. I’m saying not in the sense of “stay away if you don’t live here”, but because as others have said, there isn’t designated parking. Most people who use it just walk from their condo.
