Wang Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Cromwell

So I don’t usually do these but my experience was so aggravating and I see so many people raving about this place that I had to let some people know my experiences with this place have never been good I’ve tried more then once to try to give them another shot but I won’t be spending my money here again one night I ordered a house pad Thai a sweet and sour chicken and a pork fried rice the sweet and sour chicken looked extremely appetizing until I tried it the meat inside was so tough I couldn’t eat it after 3 pieces a whole dish wasted then I tried the fried rice it was deff not fried tasted like someone boiled some brown rice and put the pork and veggies in after bc fried rice is not suppose to be soggy and bland also so bad I couldn’t finish more money wasted the pad Thai was the only thing that was any good and it was decent at best I spent over $30 on takeout and was very frustrated that most of the food I couldn’t even eat I ended up getting Wendy’s afterward lol that was the experience that made me write a review the past 2 times I ate there were also bad but not so bad I couldn’t eat my food but still frustrating when you pay for food that u don’t even enjoy eating this place is nice and upscale looking but in my opinion a front for terrible food maybe I just had 3 bad coincidental experiences and other people enjoy them but I won’t ever be going...

I have been here many times before. On the rare occasion I ordered to go, this one particular time the food was over cooked with a burnt taste and incredibly dried out. When I called to explain to them they would not refund me unless I drove all the way back to them to give them their food. Of course they saw it was barely touched. The manger was an absolute rude (we’ll use the word jerk). Needless to say after giving them my food back and the rude lady, I received a refund. what makes me so mad, she was just voiding the sale on the credit card machine. Seriously? They could have done over the phone. I realize it is rough on business to take every phone call complaint this doesn’t taste good,but what I was paying for Chinese food and the cost of the food not even close what it took for them to make. But that’s the chance you take for going into business, and I was an honest customer. I’m so infuriated. They didn’t even offer to remake it. That would have been...

I've had Chinese food that I prefer and don't, but I've actually never had Chinese food that was outright bad. We got 2 meals and not a single thing was even decent. The pork fried rice was mushy and gray and tasted completely flavorless, the "general tso" was just grilled chicken with a little sauce in the bottom of the container, the sesame chicken had almost a seafood taste to it. The only thing that was remotely close to what we were expecting was the white rice for crying out loud. Everything was so bad that I seriously went around the house testing other foods because it had me questioning whether I was getting sick and just losing my sense of taste. Not to mention this place charges $20 a meal for this nonsense. There's so many other Chinese places in the area, don't bother with this place.
