I participated in a group hike to the summit of Katahdin on 8/5/23. It was a 100 % positive experience! Everything was super organized, from pre-hike exercise suggestions, detailed packing list to lodging suggestions ect. Tori prepared and packaged a gourmet lunch, including dessert, celebration herbal tea for the summit and a plethora of healthy and delicious snacks. Tori and her co-leader Greg expertly guided us to the summit (and back), always striving for a balance between moving and pressing along, enjoying the stunning surroundings, keeping us safe and making sure the group stayed together. When thunderstorms rolled in while we were on the summit, they swiftly changed the route to get us off the mountain as quickly and safely as posssible, which I really appreciated! Along the way, both leaders endulged us with entertaining stories about the history of Katahdin and shared their vast knowledge about plants we encountered. Hiking with the Wilderness Guru outfit was way cool - really loved it!

Last Saturday, Tori came to my homestead and gave a Foraging Class for my family and friends. She is a dynamo. She prepared the porch early in the morning for our afternoon class in creating medicinal salves. After tea, we ventured into the woods to collect the treasures hidden in the dark woods. Fortunately, Tori scouted the area ahead of time so we already knew we had some good finds out there,... like a huge chunk o' chaga! I can't recommend Tori enough for anyone considering such a class. Foraging classes are great, but one on your own property is better! Oh... and my sister called last night to tell me that the salve we made is clearing up her exema that modern medicine has not been able to resolve. Go Tori!!!

Tori was an amazing guide. I have no doubt that i would not have ever reached the summit on my own without her! (I would not have made it past the slide) Worth every Penny I spent for sure! Everything about experience was awesome. Her knowledge of the park, flora, and fauna and the parks history was impeccable. Would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking a guide. I discovered that day that I can do hard things. She does not know this but she helped me get out of my head. This was a huge accomplishment for me physically and spiritually. Do it! Hire her! You will not be disappointed..

My wife and I just spent 5 days in Baxter State Park, October 2022. I had my initial consultation with Tori by phone, she listened closely to the activities that we were interested in pursuing. She then put together an itinerary for all of our time considering our desires and abilities. We were on our own except for one day when she took us on a guided hike. She is professional, knowledgeable and provides a very enjoyable experience. We were given a folder of detailed information including descriptions, maps, and other local information. Her personal planning services and her guided hike were both a very good value. I...
