Four Boys Ice Cream — Attraction in Milltown

For many years I look forward to taking my family for evening ice cream trips at this spot and for the last two summers, the quality and service is not up to par with the previous years. Despite that I went again last Friday with my family and we got the usual two large vanilla soft serves with sprinkles and two servings of mix and match hard ice cream. Needless to say we were all so disappointed and upset with the service and quality of ice cream. Our hard serve ice cream might as well be “soft served” it was melted by the time we walked to the outdoor tables right on the lot. The girls in the parlor was probably over worked specially with the heat. There is no AC and it seems like the ice cream was already melting inside the parlor. We got served slushy runny ice cream instead of hard served we paid for and we got large but our cups were half full. It cost us a pretty penny of over $35. This keeps happening way too often now; the owners need to bring back the great quality ice cream and services...

Took a seat on their bench as I was over an hour early for my court date right next door. It was a bit breezy and I was not in the mood for ice cream, but I'm sure it tastes just fine. I enjoy looking at their flavor of the day whenever I pass that way cuz sometimes the stuff they write on there u can tell is put up to give some tired soilders a good laugh. Great view for investigators as well. I'm very curious what their building behind the mill across the street. Oh and there's a sign on the side facing the Lawrence Brook water shed that says there's another location in Jackson so idk if that's facts or if it's a play on words with the whole "action Jackson" DVD that I still have yet to watch. Anyway that's the best review I can give cause I won't lie I'm not too big of a fan of ice cream anymore and when I am, I head up to Wawa for a flurricane. Anyone who is giving this less than 5 is overly attached to Milltown Ice cream Depot and isn't giving this a proper shot. We tried it today to compare since both are super easy to get to. This ice cream absolutely blows the depot out of the water. It's super creamy and absolutely delicious. It makes you realize you're actually eating home made ice cream and not Jack and Jill like what was there before.

A small is $3.25 and feels like it weighs half a pound, anyone complaining about prices is insane. It's almost strange to me that the 3 negative reviews here all are similar and all completely false.
