KRS Hair & Wax Studio — Attraction in Milwaukee

I came in for a rod set and honestly it just was not a good experience. To start out with the good it's a nice salon, clean, and everyone I interacted with was quite nice and courteous. I felt the pricing for the services offered were reasonable and transparent as well and I was pleasantly surprised to see they accept Venmo. However, the actual salon experience left a bit to be desired.

It felt like the stylist was rushing to be done with my hair and while I understand it was a later appointment on a Saturday, I simply picked a slot that was available. It also felt like we went from shampoo and conditioning to styling without proper detangling and I found I was right when I had to wash my hair, and this style, out the very next day. My ends are bad and I acknowledge that so I would like to stress that they were not part of the issue. What was though was the fact my hair had been not only curled around the rods but twisted along the way as well as not being detangled properly. So I had a bunch of ringlets that were quite annoying to untwist from root to ends since the strands were not laid out properly before curling and the whole thing felt tangled even in areas past my dead ends. I also was sent home with rods in and while I didn't have plans that night, I can't imagine what someone who did would have done. I did not like the end look, but perhaps this style just does not suit my hair texture. All in all I'm quite disappointed with...

VERY DISAPPOINTED. I scheduled a condition and a Brazilian blowout with KRS Hair Studio back in August for an business meeting I had planned in October. This place was recommended by a friend who lived in Milwaukee since I am from San Antonio, TX. After making my appointment, I received a confirmation email stating that my appointment had been accepted. I fly into Milwaukee a day early ready for my appointment and nobody showed up to my appointment. Come to find out they are closed on Mondays. I would like to understand why you would confirm an appointment if you knew you were closed on Mondays. Also, I continued to receive text messages throughout the day reminding me of my appointment. Very unprofessional and sloppy!!

I had an important meeting with my corporate team and my hair needed to be done. I had to drive all around Milwaukee trying to beg someone to do my hair. Nobody was available so I had to go into my meeting not prepared. I'm am just so angry with KRS and will not be coming back to this salon. Waste of time and effort all because you couldn't call, text or email me to tell me you weren't open on Monday. Instead, you allowed my appointment to be accepted and allowed me to wait outside your facility for 15-20 minutes....

The first time I went was for a facial. I was greeted after about 2 minutes, which is above average. Then I was told after a few minutes that my service would begin after the room was set up, about 10 minutes. I was led to a dark room, soothing and inviting with a pretty chandelier. I booked a peel, but was talked out of it by the owner, Kim. She assessed my skin and medical history and decided that a (less expensive) facial would be more appropriate. She asked me about allergies and then chose the appropriate products for me. The facial included exfoliation, manual and enzyme, black head extraction and many moist, warm towels and Kim's soothing touch. When I tell you that I felt like I was in heaven- I'm not exaggerating. I'm going back in 10 weeks for a peeling. I would recommend this salon to anyone.
