Riverside Park Wis designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and was part of the Lake Park, Newberry Blvd., Riverside Park Development around the turn of the Century. It is also now a part of the Urban Ecology Center and the Milwaukee Centennial Rotary Arboretum. It offers bike trails, walking paths, exceptional views, river access, an abundance of birds, flowers, butterflies, Bridges and wildlife. It has an historic rock trail. Even though you are less than three minutes to the city's downtown, you feel as though you are in the country. Stroll the Oak Savannah, climb Coyote Hill There is...

Debit card will run you $35+ on your card for at least 32 hours after visit. No notification that this will occur. Contrary to post regarding open tabs at end of night will be charged an additional 20% gratuity fee for not closing out. Instead I was charged a $30 overdraft fee from my financial institution! It's a DEBIT card! If funds are not there,it would decline. Rip off joint. Not recommended at all! Tip over 20% was also taken out! Scam artists at this...

Riverside park is a favorite to visit for sure. It is gorgeous in the summer when it is lined with wildflowers upon wildflowers and you can hear the river flowing just beyond the trees. I love that there is a trail that is specifically for discovery for kids. Children in the city really need a place like this. I like the trails and getting to experience nature in the heart of milwaukee. The trail is paved by the arch and then you go down a decline to a more...

Best park to go to if you live in the area! Bring your kid/s to the playground, then if get hungry Little Caesars is across the street. Even better then the playground is the Forrest area behind the park. There is a bridge that leads into the Forrest and trails that you can walk all day or short trails that loop. Great family walk or solo. Also really great trails for biking on. Its also a really good place to search for geocaches if your in to that.

I was only there for about 30 min. It was a long and cold spring day. My friends and I took some pictures and I admired the balancing rocks. I haven't seen to many balancing rock formations here in the midwest. I'm sure there are many natural ones, but man-made is just, well, wonderful. Feel for the Good energy, harmony and peace they offer. Let your body drink it in and sooth your soul. ☮💜🎶✌
