South Shore Beach — Attraction in Milwaukee

My go to place. Always felt safe until strange situation, my suggestion we people frequent the venue for beverage & food yard games meeting new people. So, always in my thoughts number one safety watching people and bringing attention to appropriate staff is protecting small community of people haveing beer or family time. So lets help the wonderful staff on duty who serve us and protect the beer garden from danger. These times in multitude of shootings and robbing. Is time for goid people looking out for others even ifyou dont know. Thank so much..its not a perfect world ill do my best to keep safety # 1.. I love 💘my beer...

This is a beautiful little gem of a beach. The beach itself is a little rocky near the waters edge but the actual beach is very comfortable to walk on. For best beach experience I’d wear water shoes of some sort.

Outside of the beach the park around it is peaceful and beautiful. Lots of green, trees everywhere, a nice beer garden with picnic tables on a green overlooking the water. Plus there are clean bathrooms. All of this within 2 minutes walk of the beach, plus you can actually find parking around there, and it’s free!

I walk the beach and discovered a few things: there are some nice benches and new fencing to watch the duck swim around, took some pictures of that. This also a very nice place to launch your boat and I took pictures of the rates. You can pay by the launch pay by the year. You can also get a break for being over 60!! They also have a very nice fish cleaning station with a restroom! It's located right next to the Milwaukee county Park beer garden so you can get up beer and some lunch after fishing!
