The Wiggle Room — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Vibes are off the chart, but bartenders were so incredibly rude we left after one drink. First time there, only one bar, waited a bit but music was great and we weren't in any hurry. We asked for drinks, my friends were told it would be faster if they ordered the prebatched cocktails off the menu. I asked for a drink and was told she didn't have time to make it and to choose something off the menu. I understand it's a busy Saturday night, but you're a bartender and I'm paying you to make a drink for me, not to tell me your busy when I've been waiting for your attention for 15+ minutes. It's a great spot and I am super stoked to have a listening lounge in Milwaukee. I am all for all things vinyl. Nice variety of drinks as well.

They need to figure out the acoustics of the room though. The music was way too loud for a vinyl centric lounge. I could barely hear what music was playing and it was way too loud to talk to the small group of friends I was there with.

It honestly sounded like we were sitting in a wooden box. Which is true because they have repurposed a standard house to a listening lounge. They have added acoustic panels to the walls but I guess the space just needs more of it.

Great new addition to Milwaukee’s bay view bar scene along KK. Excellent corner sprawling lounge and bar for friends to get together and chat while enjoying records being spun by the staff. The owners are well qualified and it shows. I visited at their grand opening which was pretty damn busy and the staff handled it very well for being technically an hour or two old. Beverage selection is very good IMO, and prices are super fair. There was a 'food truck' (actually a trailer) doing artisanal pizzas out front by the name of pizza ortolana. Looking forward to coming back and hearing how the music selections evolve. A fun audiophile scene that is welcoming and not at all...
