I have been bowling for 12 years and have bowled at many alleys across different states. This place is really good. As someone with a natural hook, I often struggle with lanes conditions because they create too wild of a shot for me. These lanes had great conditions. I actually used a ball that I havent been able to use in years because conditions never allowed for it. It worked perfectly here. Feels more like an excuse to charge people, the place is run down, smells like sewer, no mechanical bumpers, food is like that out of a bad food truck. Read moreI live in Weatherford but had a business errand to take care of in Mineral Wells this morning on my off. I wanted to go bowling today and decided to try out Mountaineer Lanes while I was in the area. The short version is that I had a great experience. The man at the desk was very helpful and I had some folks to the left of me bowling that were friendly and even cheered me on even though I am not a very good bowler. Living in Weatheford you can either go to Fort Worth or Mineral Wells to bowl. I think I will be returning to Mineral Wells. :) $2 per game on Wednesday...
