I've always been a big fan of tower games. They were a popular spot for hosting game nights, but have recently converted a lot of that space to extra merchandising shelves they still do lots of games in the back where you can use their terrain pieces. They've done a really good job of adapting to COVID and I'm always happy to shop there for DnD, 40k, and all my other board gaming/miniature painting needs. Edit: still my favorite place to grab miniature hobby stuff Update 2: still my go-to.

I love my neighborhood game shop! I enjoy the gaming events, fantastic selection of games, and very friendly staff. There are daily events in the back room — table top open play, D&D, Magic, Star Wars X-wing, War Hammer, and more. There is a small fee for the events, snacks and NA beverages sold or bring what you prefer. As an NB, I appreciate that they have done away with the unnecessarily binary gendered bathrooms. Welcome all gender fabulous folks!

I received amazing customer service from Tower Games! I live out of town and was buying presents for in-town family members. When the package arrived (very shortly after ordering) it was nicely wrapped in festive paper with a nice note from Bob. The extra care was not expected but I really appreciated it!

This place is exactly the sort of store that I would take someone to if they were starting to become interested in Tabletop gaming. With the ceramic tile floors and the very display oriented shelving showing off tons of games and their colorful box art, it quickly establishes how far we've come from Monopoly. There are also lots of gaming oriented knick-knacks and niche miniature gaming supplies that aren't always easy to find at other stores. The prices here are definitely MSRP focused with very little in the way of discounts and compared to online retailers you're going to spend a little extra. However, why do we go to a physical store in the first place rather than staying in the comfort of our own homes and just ordering whatever we need online? For me it's for the opportunity to walk around and browse everything in person, or to soak in some of the culture of your local gaming scene, or to have a fun conversation with the staff. You're going for that added atmosphere and tactile experience and it's hard to get much better than this...

I adore the new location and the staff are amazing. I have started to come in and pick up my Pokémon cards here instead of at big box stores. I really wish I could remember the name of the guy who helped me last time I was in, he was a bunch of fun to talk to and I always enjoy talking to fellow collectors. I would really love it if tower games would start a pokemon night like they have with magic, I know it’s not as large of a fan base but would still be cool to get to meet some fellow collectors and actually play with some people. That’s my only beef I have with Pokemon cards is I don’t personally have any friends that play but would love to meet some new people with the same hobbies. Overall though staff always greet me when I walk in, I feel welcomed I feel like they actually enjoy talking to the customers that are coming through. And they always keep me up to date with when the new sets of cards are releasing. You guys rock! You would be even better if you catered to not just the magic fans but the...

My local game store! A great selection of board games, miniatures, and magic the gathering products. I’m sure they do plenty more than that too, that’s just what I’m familiar with. They’re super welcoming to casual and beginner player, as well as the hard core fanatics. Clearly they care about their customers and their experiences. For example, if you ask for a recommendation or need to adjust you order they will be ready and willing to help.

For mtg they have tables and a game space in the back, plus snacks, restrooms, and water. During Covid I wouldn’t try to play-in but they’ve been great about offering curbside games and products to go, even partnering with the Low Brow Restaurant near by to offer game pick up with your takeout order.

If you’re in the neighborhood check out their website, give them a curbside order, and come back after the pandemic is over for some friendly table...
