We had a wonderful day at the Mint Hill Historical Society! A heartfelt thanks to our Tour Guide, Patricia Lyndsay, for sharing her time and extensive knowledge during our family tour on Saturday. The Carl J. McEwen Historic Village in Mint Hill is a step back in time right here in our town. They have restored a Country Doctor’s Office, a one room schoolhouse, a Country Store with Gas Station and the Gold Assay office where miners brought their ore to see if they had struck it rich!!
