5/9/2025 Update, Same service, after asking them to check my order for 5 meals. Lady in blue shirt said she checked it twice. Well, guess what they still missed a sandwich. I even asked for her to double check it. I shouldn't even have to ask. Last trip I drove home missing two sandwiches, you no I am sorry. I have asked for the Store manager to call. NOTHING. I never received my sandwiches from the last order. So I keep updating my review. I really try not to go to this place. My son just wanted Chick-Fil-A. This is how this location has been from the open. Very disappointed in this location. 2yrs not much hope in it changing. . 11/23/2023 update We are very disappointed with this location. Read the reviews itās true. Long waits. Orders not right. Plenty of help walking around talking. Wait 10 minutes for 2 vanilla cones. Than today when placing our order the girl was rude. This isnāt a Chick-fil-A. I expect this from McDonald. I will drive to Indian trail or Mathews. Never a bad experience at either.
Update, been there again twice they leave out a sandwhich or bud. This is becoming what to expect. I have better luck at McDonalds 11/21/23 Update. Still messing up orders. Went through drive through. Justin was very polite young man! However got home they yet again left out an item again. Then they canāt refund you. Give credit on app one manager said no another did. But now I have to remember to use it. Then remember to double check this location hasnāt changed one bit. Look at the reviews. Left out. Wait. Hasnāt changed. Burger King. McDonaldās much better hands down! Your location is a disappointment to chick fil. It starts with the owner. 11/22/23 So there sorry is giving me my milkshake I paid for on the app. I had to make a trip back to get it. I asked Zac if he thought that was I am sorry, or expectable for him. He said ya. So there you go, nothing will change!! Very disappointed with this location. Now Indian trail & Mathews never had a issue. 1/14/25 UPDATE: $65 order drive through took home. Had a friend picked up at airport we stopped her she wanted Chick-fil-A. We ordered on app, drive through line was quick when we got there. I told my friend lets see they always seem to mess up our order. YUP we got home sure enough they forgot TWO sandwiches again. I have stopped going there because of this. I will drive to Indian trail or Matthew before here. Or Burger King just down the road or McDonalds they always get our order right. Lets see the owner will send email. I am sorry, We will give you your two sandwiches. That is no sorry. If you started giving our order refunds, or $25 gift cards as I am truly sorry. I bet this would get fixed. With so many people working there I don't understand. It is this store level of customer service that is excepted from Management. That is why how many years later still the same. The few times I stop I will continue to update. My money is on they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent there to got an order fixed from the day before. Nuggets were so dry they resembled the peeling effect of String cheese. So dry they hurt the roof of my daughters mouth to bite into. Threw them in the trash as the car wash. Wasted money out the window.
So I ordered, told them I was getting a replacement. The girl with the order pad had to call inside on how to do itā¦.so all these cars are passing me in the other side. Then Waited the loooooong wait to get to the window. They donāt greet me the just look at me and try handing me Maryās Oder. I say nope. After 4 tries and 4 different names they ask me ānot who I amā but what did I order. I was waiting on one box of nuggets.
So then they say well, who are you? I tell them. They again ask me what I ordered. So in the mean time two works at a time have served 4 cars behind me wit HUGE bags of food. They come back to me & tell me to pull up. Never say, Im sorry, please, thank you. Nothing. So Im waiting and waiting. More cars are served behind me. After 3 more cars, I yell out the window āhelloā¦.you are making me lateā. The same girl comes up to me and ask what I ordered AGAIN. Im about to loose it. Then about 50 kids come flying between the wall and my car and all they book bags are scraping my car! I lost it then! I still didnāt have my food. They hear me screaming at the kids to get away from my car. They FINALLY bring my food with no napkins, no sauce and no water water that I ordered. I never got a thank you, a sorry or nothing. I never even received a proper greeting that they so pride theirselves...

As a former Chick-fil-A employee, I'm incredibly disappointed in what I witnessed at the Mint Hill location today.
While waiting for my food, I saw a young girl -- maybe around 11 or 12 -- receive the wrong drink. She had clearly wanted a Sunjoy (a mix of tea and lemonade), but was given just a tea. You could tell she was shy and hesitant to speak up, but eventually she worked up the courage to go back to the counter to politely explain the mistake.
Instead of simply fixing the drink -- which is what any decent team member should do, especially when it's obviously a child and likely their error -- the staff made her pay for a whole new lemonade to make the Sunjoy. It was honestly hard to watch. The poor girl looked embarrassed and unsure, and no one made an effort to make it right or show her a little grace.
Having worked at Chick-fil-A myself, I know firsthand that the standard is to go above and beyond for guests -- especially kids. This wasn't just poor customer service. It was a moment where kindness was needed, and this team completely dropped the ball.
This location needs to remember what the "my pleasure" philosophy is actually supposed to mean. Taking advantage of a kid over a messed-up drink is a terrible look.
