Fantastic sandwiches! The Hill Bar and Grill in Mint Hill The BEST wings in my opinion - size, texture (juicy!) and flavor though the dry rub was very mild. I prefer the mild Buffalo flavor. Much much better than Hawthornes in Mint Hill. Reuben was very good but bread a teeny tiny bit soggy on one side (I like really crisp bread), great amount of corned beef. Loved the flavors. The home made chips are awesome! Not salty but the ketchup was a perfect foil so just right for us. Definitely recommend these! Fried pickles were good, though cornmeal is not really my personal favorite, they were fresh and good texture. Love the ranch and blue cheese dressings. Excellent burger! We will absolutely be back for burgers and wings on a regular basis and want to try the Cuban next time too. Place was hopping, excellent service, you could tell it was a local favorite by the clientele - wonderful local space with great home cooked food. We will definitely be back - we found our new favorite wing joint!! 😍

Great small town restaurant/bar with good food and friendly staff. Was my first time here and was immediately greeted by smiling faces. I ordered the royal BLT with onion petals as my side. It was delish, but definitely could stand to have more bacon to balance out all the toppings but in any case I enjoyed it very much. Sweet tea was sweetened just right. Not bland and not too sugary. I’d definitely come back here again and maybe try a drink from the bar.

What a fantastic surprise The Hill Bar and Grill turned out to be! I popped in without huge expectations, but the food seriously blew me away – everything was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. As a Coors Banquet fan, I was thrilled to see it available. Beyond the great food and drinks, the atmosphere is just perfect; it's got those laid-back, comfortable vibes you look for. Can't wait to go back!

I am so baffled by the excellence of this fine local establishment that I felt compelled - nay, required by civic duty - to leave an unsolicited and entirely truthful retelling of my experience.

It all started with the first impression. Upon pulling into the parking lot, I found ample available handicapped parking for my lifted pickup truck. There were two adjoining parking spots I was able to park my rolling superiority complex in. After descending from my diesel throne, I walked inside. I was greeted graciously by a young lady gleaming with charm and southern hospitality. This place has just the right atmosphere. The black drop ceilings, family-style wall collage, tables of varying heights, and the ambiance of a ringing jukebox. Truly inspired. I'm a plus-sized man, as in no less than two men summed up in a shared skin suit, and I still found that the chairs were wide enough to nearly fit both cheeks!

Then, the service. My god, the service. The waitress approached, a freckled angel descended from above, who was so funny you'd think she has a future in stand-up. A little flirtatious though. And she meant it. I know she meant every bit of it. I saved the receipt so I'll never forget her name - Hailey. No matter how fast I slurped, Hailey never let my Coke run dry. So observant. She was quick of foot, sharp of wit, and dextrous of balance as she carried the many paper-lined baskets on which my food was so artfully presented. Hailey's recommendations were also delightfully insightful. I adored her service and will certainly request to sit with her every visit just to absorb the joyous youthful aura of her presence in the most respectful way most older men do.

Now the food. I ordered the fried pickles, hot wings, and piggy burger with extra bacon. Let me just say, if you like your food brown, this is the place for you! The pickles were lusciously fried, the hot wings will have you visiting the old house down the lane, and the burger was fattiest thing I've experienced outside of my pulmonologist's office. I can't wait to try the remainder of the menu next week. Back to those hot wings. So spicy. I can attest to the cleanliness (at least at the beginning) of their facilities. High marks for their dedication to maintaining such an orderly privy. And I apologize to whomever those hot wings generated additional labor for.

In closing, this is my new favorite establishment in the area. Drive past everywhere else and pay The Hill a visit. I know I'll be back. A lot.

And Hailey, if you're reading this, I'd suck you up like a hapless pigeon into a jet engine, leaving behind nothing but feathers...

The staff is slow, but friendly. They never give you your dollars worth of fries, the amount of fries you get is a joke. Also, tonight a kid in his chair fell over. I thought “meh, he’s probably not sitting still”. Then two other chairs fell over, so that was weird...then a few minutes later I leaned to the side to get my wallet out and the chair leg almost broke and I almost fell over, but luckily I have good balance. That leg was very wobbly. I am not overweight or anything, but my biggest concern is that what if it was someone overweight or an elderly person sitting in that chair?! I just really think the establishment should get new chairs, especially since I experienced four chairs falling over, including mine in only one visit. Definitely not a safe place to dine in and eat if you ask me. If it wasn’t for the slow staff and the chairs, I’d rate four out of five (the quantity of fries and the amount of money you pay for such a small serving automatically knocks it down a star). The negatives just outweighs the positives...
