This location in Mint hill is super amazing, most friendly and knowledgeable staff, they are just welcoming and ready to assist in anyway. Once entered, you will be greeted with a genuine friendly smile. It is always clean. The Liberians always putting back books and access making everything organized and perfect for the next person that walks in.To the right will be the kids area, lots of book, dvds, computer games and educational fun stuff on the touch screen monitors., kids have lots of fun activities and their own lounge, there is also a teen lounge as well a quiet room area. I visit here at least 3 times a week during the afternoons. Checking out book dvds or audio books were so easy, returning was just even effortless with drive up or inside returns. I homeschool my children and have been to almost every library in this area. Never had an issue until I come to this branch. We have been here twice. The first time I was told my 1 year old needed to be quiet when he was playing in an area with multiple children who were all just being children. The 2nd time a lady wouldn't allow me to stay inside the class my daughter was taking. It was an art class! I like to be there so I can see what she's learning and converse with her afterwards more in depth. Again, no other library cares if parents stay in the class quietly sitting in a corner. I voted early here. There were lots of signs for people who were running for office. The parking lot was busy, but still had plenty of parking. The voting was easy to get to. It was easy to vote and leave. The volunteers were very helpful and friendly. Great experience!! I went to the Mint Hill Library again today. A knitting and crochet group meets from 12-2 the first Tuesday of the month. Everyone works on different projects. Today, someone brought in cross stitch to work on. It's fun to see what...
