Was quoted $320 for an iPad Pro 12.9 screen. No screens were in stock. When I came back the following week, they only had a “premium” screen for $380, a more than 18% up charge. This premium screen is the worst tablet screen I've ever had. It takes longer to clean the fingerprints off of it. It’s more reflective, so it’s harder to see with bright lights above. It doesn’t get as bright, so it’s harder to see when sitting outdoors even in the full shade. The color tint is cooler than normal, so whites look bluer. The edges of a full white screen have a slight purple cast. A block of white next to block of black sometimes has a slight red cast. Colors sometimes shift when moving, e.g. white on black text can look bluish or greenish while scrolling. Sometimes when scrolling there’s a weird flicker in parts of the screen. The brightness is not consistent around the middle point -- there's a glitch around the middle setting where setting the screen brighter makes it dimmer and vice versa. This can make the screen unexpectedly flash when auto-brightness is enabled. There are several places where touching the screen or holding it on the back causes dark spots to appear. If I knew the screen was going to be this bad, I would’ve bought a screen protector for my cracked screen or bought a new iPad. The lowest end iPad would’ve had a smaller, but much better screen at a lower price. There is nothing premium about this screen other than the price.
Good: Friendly service, was ready when promised
Fair: Workmanship. On two sides of the new screen there are gaps wide enough that I can fit my fingernail between the screen and the body
Bad: Screen quality
Terrible: Upcharge for a...
Read moreMy husband was sold the wrong cover for his cell phone...went back after holidays talked with a female was told no refunds only exchanges she wrote on his receipt gift card. Then the coronavirus hit everything shut down went back after they opened again to try & make solve the issue just to be told the same thing again. I was told since they have limited stock & nothing available to our liking he could order a phone cover. I had him order one for my phone since my case is broke. He asked if I wanted it delivered or pick up...I said pick up & he asked if I wanted to hold on to current phone cover & I did. I wasn't going to be out the phone cover already purchased for them to resell. I was supposed to be notified next day. After a week of not hearing anything I went back into store just to find out he couldn't order the phone cover. I asked for a refund again b/c they sold him the wrong phone cover, I was told no again when I started everything that has occurred from the beginning he said he didn't know b/c I said nothing to him about it. I told him he was wrong b/c when I was in the week before I told him everything & that the current trip marked my 4th visit to resolve this issue. My advise hear I will not do business with Wireless Toybox @...
Read moreZero customer service. Had the front and back of my iPhone repaired along with buying a case and a battery. Was told it was NOT an aftermarket battery before purchasing and for days after the purchase I got messages multiple times telling me I didn’t have a genuine apple battery. Fine no big deal. On top of that my phone screen was not installed correctly twice and my speaker wasn’t working properly after i got it back. It was dropped on the case from a short distance and at impact the front screen literally detached from the phone and cracked. Was told by the worker that someone must of been trying to pry the screen off which doesn’t even make sense. Then continued to say “ we could of sent it back for the warranty buut we can’t since the screens cracked”. Paid to have it fixed when I personally didn’t think I should of. They so generously gave me a small discount and still charged me $70. Had to bring it back for the same issue after that screen was also junk. Would not give me a refund and tried to charge me another $70 to fix it and clearly had no intentions of trying to make it right.
3 trips and over $300 spent and still have a cracked screen…
The first bad review I’ve ever given for good reason. Don’t waste your time...
