We went on a Thursday night it wasn't busy plenty of seating open. We sat down and waited for 10 minutes for someone to take my drink order. We order a table side guacamole which was good. I order a ribeye from there steak stone experience with asparagus and mushrooms. My wife order chicken, chorizo with Cheese. It took roughly 30 minutes for our food to show up. My wife thought her meal was good. My ribeye I order wasn't a ribeye it was a sirlon that they precut for me. When I brought it to my wait staffs attention that my steak wasn't a ribeye. He replied OK, but you should try it and tell me how it taste. I order my steak med, which it was medium. But in the meat there was some weird rainbow glare on the meat. I didn't eat it. The manager came and ask why I didn't eat my steak I explained the issue. He did offer the fix it. My wife was already done eating and I wasn't about to wait 30 minutes again. He then offer me a drink which I refuse and thanked him. I payed my full bill and left. But these was so frustrating to me to were a week later I had to write this review. There price for the steak was higher than any steakhouse ( longhorn,Outback, Texas Roadhouse) in area at $35 for the ribeye. I expect if you are charging that price for a steak you are proud of it and is good. It was wrong steak and very...
Read moreI have never had such cold service! We decided that we would never be back BEFORE we tried the food. They have a "molcajete" and a "molcajete patrona" both on the menu. The original had a detailed description (I have ordered this at many different restaurants) and was similar to what other restaurants offer. For the other, the description was vague. It said something along the lines of "everything that the traditional molcajete has, with chicken, steak, shrimp, and nopal." Well, the traditional has steak, chicken, and shrimp also so...I'm confused. I asked the waiter to elaborate. He couldn't. He couldn't explain anything. He was just saying things that didn't make sense and contradicting what the menu said. Eventually, he took my menu and went to ask a cook. When he came back, the explanation wasn't much better. I knew more about what the plate should have than they did. There were some other off-putting moments that I won't go into, contributing to our negative experience. I will just say that the training was majorly lacking, along with common sense, and manners. The food was mediocre in my opinion and the restaurant itself was huge and beautiful. It seems like a lot of thought and money...
Read moreFood was good! We had the tacos with carne asada, which was very good paired with lime and salsa verde! It came with the rice and bean which were also very tasty and well seasoned. The quesobirria was good with a great amount of meat but not enough cheese. They used flour tortillas which made it feel heavy but still good tasting with the consume! I used lime in it to help with the flavor as well! My family and I loved the nachos, very good plate to share with everyone at the table. We felt like the service was not as great, the woman serving us was very dismissive and we felt not cared. She was able to come by and help us and get refills as needed however it was a Sunday so just be aware of times you are going since they were very busy. Also other servers nearby were very kind and humored us, which was appreciated. Their cake was delicious as well! Highly recommend for any birthdays! Overall very good experience and would recommend to go when not too busy or be patient when they are busy. Also their house agave was very good! I definitely forgot the corn on the cob, but that was a...
