Bad form. Bad form not honoring their own discount coupon. SMH.
I called and asked the cost of a smog check for my SUV. I was quoted $45. I then found a discount coupon and drove across town to get it done. I enter and was greeted by a young lady who said she talked to me on the phone and quoted me $45. I said yes and presented the discount coupon to apply against the quote. I was then told that with the coupon....still $45. So you're not going to honor the coupon? Uhh, that's included. I never mentioned a coupon until now. Another lady chimed in with, well we used to charge more but lowered the price to bring in more . And I'm here... So you won't honor the coupon? "Sorry" was the reply.
So, is their coupons just a meaningless promise of a discount. Or did someone screw up by saying the price of a smog check without considering a customer bringing in a coupon. If the latter, why the intentional untruths about the coupon?
I would rather be told by a company rep that they made a mistake, it happens, but I'll make up for it by knocking off a few bucks on your smog check. Rather than the runaround I received. Because if that happened, I would be there right now getting a smog check with a happy Yelp in the future instead of sitting here writing this! To Man up and recompense is an action I can respect.

STOPSTOPSTOPSTOP* made an appointment to have a break and lights inspection done on my 1986 Mercedes Benz sdl. When I walked in the door the person at the front desk Offers me every service they have available. From bumper to bumper. I had already had the car look at by A reputable shop. they took the car in to the shop they could not find the key to the wheels they ask me for the key I told the tech where the key was. With in 20 minutes they informed me that the car did NOT pass due to a REAR fog light. I said what rear fog light? I ask the tech to show me he said "well the car doesn't have it so I can't show you" but also they showed me the fog light covers on the car they said that they are old and dry and need to replace the tech started to be angry because he offered to order them and replace them. He went on and on telling me I should replace then when I said I would think about it. he then said that the shocks where also bad and that they are leaking. So little inspection that they do that they dint even notice that I had all shocks replace a week ago. Over all this people are scammers and always try to sell you part plus labor to get the MOUST $$$.$$ OUT OF YOU. I took my car to a different shop to have both test and it pass without...

Went in for a smog check left without working break lights and signals. 2 relays were taken out and I was sent out to drive an unsafe vehicle. They refuse to take responsibility and even accused me of sabotaging my own vehicle. I have spent over $200 and am left with a nonoperative vehicle and difficulty in finding replacement parts due to supply line problems. Gave one star only because I can't give no stars. My suggestion is to go to any other mechanic, there are plenty close by that are far more ethical and won't steal from you and leave you stranded. In response to their response to my review here. I do not appreciate their vilification of me. I am an honest person. All I wanted was to be treated fairly. I did notice that I had no turn signals early on but assumed that since I had one light burn out that the other had done the same. This was discovered the same day. I didn't realize that my brake lights were out till the night time. Usually one doesn't notice that till the police or another driver alert them. Their accusation of me not knowing that I had signals when I came in is ridiculous and insulting. They are covering themselves over a couple of $10 parts. If they were so reputable as they claim then that would be a small price to pay for their rep. I am not here to settle some vendetta for not passing smog as they would have you think. I simply want a working vehicle and not a lawn ornament. While I don't think the management is crooked, the mechanic that worked on my vehicle is. Management there is of course responsible for their employees and their actions. But it seems that $20 ish of parts is not worth saving their reputation. I still would never let them work on any of vehicles again due to the treatment I have received. At the very least they should give me a refund since no one should have to pay...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSerge, Wayne and their team are necessities for the life of my car and the cars of my family. They are true experts. The work they do is fantastic, always. But it is more than that. They really think of the customer. You wont have to call over and over again to find out the status of your car's repairs. They call you with updates. You are not left in the dark. They take the initiative to let you know how things are progressing. And they, in my experiences, have been prompt to finish the repairs fast and inform so I'm back in my car. They have to wait for me to come pick it up because they invariably finish up before the estimated time; if they give you an estimate for how long the repairs will take, not only are you updated but you will likely have your car before the estimated time.
And they go beyond. I once went in for brakes and steering. But there were some external cosmetic work that I decided it was ti to address. They were honest with me that the necessary work needed for the car to operate safely could be worked on immediately but that with cosmetic external work it would be a while before they could before they could get to it. So I told them to stick with the work that needed to be done so I could be driving my car again as soon as possible. When they called(after updating me throughout) that I could come pick my car up(sooner than expected), not only was the necessary work done and done well, but I shortly discovered they had addressed the external cosmetics. They did so without chargng me for it nor seeking out praise. It was like I found an unexpected gift given by someone who cared only that the gift was received and not...
