We had been patronizing this establishment for years. Over the past few years, our take out order would over-promised and under delivered. At times we would wait almost 20 more minutes when we arrived at the pick up time to collect our food. We put up with it. Tonight's experience was the worst one ever. I placed the call at 4:15pm and told them that I would be picking up at 5:15pm. When I arrived, there were already at least 5-7people waiting for their orders. There was only one maitre-D working the front. Both owners and one other waitress were around but at the back. I was told that my order was not ready yet. So I waited with everyone else. There was a steady stream of online and phone orders that came in as well as people that coming in to pick up their food. Finally, the lady owner came up to help up front but kept telling everyone that the kitchen was behind. A customer came in to pick up her order that she had called it in but the staff couldn't find her order. Another customer came in to pick up her order but it wasn't ready either. So, she told the restaurant that she was leaving. The lady owner, instead of trying to smooth things over with her, simply said, "Bye!". Finally, I asked the waitress to check on my order as it was now 5:50pm, 35 minutes past the pick up time. They told me that the kitchen was almost done with it and my food finally showed up at 5:58pm. I am convinced that they forgot about my order. I also requested for extra tomatoes and was told that they would give me an extra tomato per order. There were no extra tomatoes found. There is no excuse for this kind of service if I had called ahead of time to have my food ready at the pick up time. In fact, when I placed the order, I was told that it would ready in 25 minutes. These people have been running this restaurant for decades. How can they not anticipate and be prepared for how busy Friday evenings can be? On top of that, a customer came in to pick up a party order for 40 people. I'm sure he placed an advanced order. They had his order out before mine. Don't blame the kitchen. It all comes down from management and the owners who think that they can bank on their loyal customers from their ethnic base and get away with lousy service. Well, they just lost another customer because I am done with patronizing...

I would leave zero stars if I didn’t have to leave one. Every time we order from here there seems to be some issue, and not to mention they are incredibly rude. After the order was placed I called to see if they could make the order family style. They “put me on hold” but really they didn’t. I could hear them smack talking other people. Apparently they realized it was not on hold though because after a minute they fully put it on hold. Then a lady came on the phone and Answered in Farsi basically saying “ok what is it?” And…forget ordering from their app… our tracking went away and it said it was delivered. Called the restaurant and they just passed the phone around without even telling me they were going to put me on hold. They put some lady on the phone that basically said to just wait it out and that they shouldn’t have taken our order because it was late. Not sure what that means since we ordered around noon through their app. If they’re not taking orders, seems like they should fix their app. After 40 minutes they said it’s been out for delivery and to wait another 20 minutes. We live about 5-10 minutes from the restaurant so it shouldn’t take that long. After another 20 minutes we called, and the guy again said that the driver is out and to wait 15-20 minutes. We ended up just telling them to cancel our order. Their staff is rude and incompetent. Save yourself the hassle and order...
