Needed to upgrade the crummy factory radio in my 2007 Honda Pilot. Viejo Auto Stereo came highly recommended to me from two completely different sources so I felt good about bringing in this old SUV in need of some audio upgrades. Note that I have a background in auto detailing so I am somewhat picky about looks. I had done my own stereo upgrades in the distant past, the mid '80's, so I found that I was in over my head when it comes to the newer stereo models. Mark and Santiago got me fixed up right. The fit and finish of the new Kenwood head unit looks factory. It looks like it belongs there. I've had many compliments on it already. That was the first hurtle. That, along with new speakers and amp got this Pilot cranking the tunes like it never had before. Big props to Viejo Auto Stereo for doing a great job with the install. So about 2-3 months ago I went here to get my tweeters and door speakers replaced on my 16’ wrx. Last month I went a different place to get my audio checked out because it was sounding funny and they told me this place didn’t put it back together correctly. Apparently the foam for the door speakers was missing. It’s a big deal because it keeps the speaker from being directly attached to the door. That’s my first issue. Second issue was the tweeters that weren’t installed correctly either. I’m not sure if the full details but the bracket for the tweeters were also not installed right. My right door has blown out at low volume. Just be aware, these places don’t show you what’s wrong or right in the inside...
