Bobayes Teahouse — Restaurant in Missouri City

Honestly the drinks themselves are amazing. I love what I order, so far I have had the fried calamari, french fries (love the seasoning), island green, and a D1 (detox thing) all great. My friend got the chicken wings and she didn’t like it, take that however you want. I was studying and once everyone left the store (the other customers) I asked to turn down the music and they did. Which I was very appreciative of. :)

So I would like if the people (perhaps owner) would pay attention to the details more. The wall picture is coming apart the bit. The chairs don’t match (which is good because one chair hurts my tailbone more than the other so I’m glad to have options). But it contributes to the aesthetic none the less. Good selection of games. One of the tables is really wobbly.

I will say my first day I went someone spilled their tea on the table and in the 2-3 hours I was there no one cleaned it up. I went the next day and it was gone so that was good.

Overall LOVE this place. The little details doesn’t distract from the fact that customer service was prty good and the drinks are also good. So it deserves a 5 from me.

July 10, 2020 (relatively a year later) I still love this place. Customer service is really good! I tried their egg pudding tea thing and it was rly good. I love ordering their fries...

I live in Rosharon where unfortunately there aren’t smoothie places that aren’t chains (Smoothie King, Jamba Juice, etc.) :( Decided to make the drive to Bobayes and hands down THE BEST smoothie that I’ve had that was not homemade. I ordered the Kiwi Mango Smoothie w/ strawberry bits and it was absolutely delicious. As for service - when my daughter and I walked in we didn’t notice anyone behind the counter so we tapped the bell on the counter that says “ring for service”. After tapping the bell there was no acknowledgement that someone would be out or anything so we stood there for about a minute before noticing a lady making a smoothie behind the counter which seemed weird since she didn’t say anything. Also while taking our order her personality was extremely dry. It was our first time and we weren’t sure what to order and she just stood there somewhat aloof - far from welcoming. Also the seat of the “white chairs” had what looked like old juice stains…I came early in the morning so one could only assume that the chairs aren’t...

I honestly don’t like leaving reviews like this: I went into Bobayes the first time 2 weeks ago after martial arts class down the way and upon arrival the young lady at the front was EXTREMELY rude. I almost didn’t order. However my kids wanted boba and it was the closest place. I went in again today and the same young lady had the same nasty attitude. I walked in and greeted her, & she basically looked me upside my head. I spoke up again to greet her and she goes “what do you wanna order” with a nasty attitude. I said you know what… I don’t want anything from this place at this point. Why would I want someone with such negative energy to make the food / drink that I’ll be consuming .

It also smells like sewer in here . Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. As a business owner myself, please get this young lady from working in your establishment. Customer service...
