Truboy BBQ Market — Restaurant in Missouri City

From placing my catering order with Jereis to having the order delivered was an excellent experience! Delivery was prompt and they set up and left. Stress free for me!

I contacted Truboy because they were recommended by my brother who had them a few days before for the first time at another event. I was having a party for 30 people. My initial conversation with Jereis was perfect; he suggested how much I needed from what I told him I wanted. I wanted the chopped brisket, smoked turkey, brisket tamales and mixed sausage! Come on now! All of this was served with slider buns, bread, jalapeños, onions, pickles! Their bbq sauce is wowza amazing!

Now to the meat flavors ……. The sausage gone is 60 seconds …. We got classic and jalapeño. Everyone made sausage sliders so fast. Truly a great hit! The smoked brisket is scrumptious (my favorite) pairs so well with their bbq sauce with a slider or the bread! The smoked turkey was perfect as a turkey sandwich and bbq sauce! I also had a baked potato station with all the fixings and people topped it with the brisket and turkey! The tamales are stuffed full with the smoked brisket and we topped it with their bbq sauce and some topped it with salsa we had. All the food was delicious!

We had leftovers so the next day we made bbq brisket nachos and they were amazing!

If you’re in Canada and wondering if you should order from Truboy … do it! You’ll be happy you did. For starters the BBQ is awesome. Especially the brisket. Yet what really blew my mind is the customer service. The folks at Truboy are truly outstanding. Let me share my story with you…

I live in Canada and I’d gone years without getting my hands on proper BBQ. Every now and then I’d run across some brisket and give it a try, but it never lived up to the memories of the BBQ I’d had on trips to Texas.

So when I saw a Facebook ad for Truboy I was like … YEP, I’m gonna give it a try. Now … if you know anything about Canada customs you won’t be surprised that even though all the paperwork was filled out perfectly by Truboy, my order got held up for several days at the border.

But when I found out about the problem, I didn’t have to contact the company to beg and plead for a solution. They contacted me unprompted, apologized for the inconvenience (which wasn’t even their fault!) and immediately offered to reship my order at no extra cost and even throw in a couple extra goodies for free! Where the heck do you ever get customer service like that nowadays. Pretty much nowhere I reckon.

So yeah, I’m now a huge fan of Truboy. And I’ll be ordering BBQ from them for years to come.

Oh, and did I mention how freaking amazing the BBQ is. Me and my daughter practically inhaled the brisket just between the two of us. So yeah … if you’re considering giving them a try just do yourself a favor and pull the trigger. You won’t be...

Y’all NEED to give TruBoy BBQ a try! (Yes, it’s 100% halal). I’ve had it before in a party setting, but this was the first time I ordered Truboy BBQ online as it’s intended.

I ordered the chopped brisket plus 2 bottles of the sauce. There’s no other way to put this except… it’s arguably the best bbq brisket I’ve ever had. No… not just zabiha (I’m not partial to zabiha). It’s better than Pinkerton, Gatlins, etc., IMO. Literally melt in your mouth brisket with the perfect level of spice. The sauce is just right (there’s a kick to it, but it’s not overly hot). In fact, the sauce was so good that my kids were eating samosas with it the next day! Lmao!

As for the ordering and delivery process. It’s super simple. The box came as you see. It took roughly 4 hours to get the brisket thawed. The instructions are simple.

The price plus delivery is worth it. We had the brisket over 2 ½ days. Quality was maintained.
