The salesperson/cashier was extremely rude and acted as if she was doing me a favor. As a first time shopper and an avid collector of fine cooking supplies, this was my first and last trip there. I was there to purchase a gift on someone's registry. I live very close to the shop and have never taken the time to visit. I regret that my first experience was a negative one. I know this isn't the type things people like to hear, nor is it the type that I like to speak. Normally, I would just leave my thoughts and review unspoken/untouched, however this was beyond silence. To say I was disappoint is an understatement. I was extremely impressed by the inventory and atmosphere. I purchased the gift of my choice listed on the bridal registry and after about a 25 minute wait left. When I completed my purchase, the cashier told me she would be back in a few minutes with my wrapped gift. She stood at the register for about 5 to 10 minutes waiting for another customer to come to the register; no one was in line or waiting. She then left, without taking my gift and went to the back of the store. I then walked out to my car to check on my husband. When I returned, she was nowhere to be seen. Tried to return an item that I purchased as a Christmas present and they claim they can't find my purchase in their system even though they emailed me a notification of my order before I even got home with it. The gentleman, Brenden, was very unpleasant and would not even give me a store credit. He said I had to exchange the item out for another item, today....this is unheard of in the retail industry. You have lost a longtime customer. Beware of giving them your email address...they obviously don't use it to keep track of your in store purchases...just spam...
