Monroe Farmers' Market — Attraction in Monroe

Fairly new to this state and I am continually amazed that the greed is all over,especially food. Almost anything can be grown here.I relocated from SW U.S. where food is not grown. More expensive here? Food isn't the only expensive item its everything or anything. GREED is the HOLY GRAIL here. View point from outside Louisiana. I guess you can accept any condition as normal which I realize most here do. From food to any retailer it is plain out GREED! I can see why the need of a church on every corner will not help. It's not the church but the bank people worship in. 14$ for a watermelon? 10$ for 1lb Lima beans over 4$ 3 tomatoes? Retires here thinking of a fair moral part of America WRONG! Needless to say I made a mistake in my decision.Which I will correct soon. I will leave you highly religious people to your GREED. I don't agree with your brand of good and fair dealings with your fellow man. I guess everyone is competing with Duck Dynasty? My advice to consumers in this state...
