I am fortunate enough to have a patio facing the pond. Every day, I see respectful people, walking with their children, fishing, taking their dogs for walks on a leash. The wildlife is amazing to watch. Unfortunately, there are people who do not respect nature in all its glory. There are people who do not believe their dogs need to be leashed, and have had a few close calls when they run up to another not so friendly dog, properly being restrained on a leash. Also, the people who throw sticks or balls into the water for their dogs to chase, scare off many of the birds, leaving their young, who can not yet fly. Read moreGreat place to go for a stroll; right across the highway is Scheels. There is usually several cars parked here to go walking or biking. Be careful of trash from people partying at night. There are several trash cans available to use. I picked up when I left and most locals will do the same. I love Billings/ MT locals because they always keep things cleaned up for others to enjoy and volunteer as it's the decent thing to do! It is right across the street from the Scheel’s shopping area with decent parking. Lots of water and wildlife as well.
