I understand that AMC is a business. I also understand that businesses prefer to sell their OWN products- which includes sinfully overpriced drinks and snacks. Aside from being thoroughly disgusted by the prices of drinks, I am thoroughly displeased with the unprofessionalism at your theatre. While ordering some slushes for my children (at said cost), I understood no outside food or drink when you told me that but shouting it to the entire theatre is unnecessary. The cashiers mouth was covered in something white and sticky and my 8 year old said he was so grossed out he had to look away. And you expect me to pay your $6.00 for a $0.99 drink when the face of your company is handling my cup with heaven knows what on and in his mouth?! I've worked in the service industry. Disgusting. Then to have some woman who is too busy sweeping she has to call out to a group of us, because we didn't realize she was also taking tickets, proceed to tell me to dump my coffee. I'm sorry. If you offered a latte for the price of my first born at your facility, I may have bought one, but you don't. I am taking my kids to an 11am movie, on a day off. I'm not harming anyone. I didn't bring in popcorn or other snacks- we paid the full price for tickets and slushes. Something that should not cost almost $100 for a family! (A family activity and I have to take out a loan). Should this be so highly offensive to your company, which is ridiculous btw, maybe you teach your employees to have some decorum. "I don't know if you were aware but our policy is no outside drink. I see you brought coffee... which we don't have, I know, but may I ask you to finish that outside the theatre?" Or how about " you may not be aware of our policy of no outside food or drink, I can let that pass today. I see you've got all the kids and you might need that coffee today!" Movie theatres are a prime example of greed and what's wrong with the world. Nothing is ever enough. I will never attend your theatre again and I will let everyone I know how rude, unprofessional and disgusting your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was an awful experience. Me and a friend wanted to see endgame. We looked online and saw that the ticket prices were 6.99 per person. We even went on a Tuesday knowing it would be less busy.. I had no credit card so I brought $60 in cash. We got to the theater and stood in line forever for tickets. Once we finally got to the counter we were told the tickets would he $15.99 a pop! I told her the website says 6.99? She told me again it was 15.99 with a bad attitude of course. I just sucked it up and paid the money. We waited again forever to get popcorn and soda. My friend didn't want pop corn so she got nachos and a soda. I asked if the popcorn was refillable and the young man just replied "yea" so I bought a medium. We were charged $30 for our food. I litterally gave them all the money in my pocket plus some change all just to see that movie. We finally got to the movie just as it started and the theater was trashed. There was popcorn everywhere. I got gum on my behind from one of the seats. It was terrible. My shoes Stuck to the floor from all the spilled drinks that nobody bothered to clean between viewings. After all that. We got about 45 min through a 3hr movie and I was out of popcorn. I went back to the concession counter and asked for a refill of my popcorn. The young man who sold me the popcorn told me that only large popcorn can be refilled! I asked him why he didn't explain that to me before selling me a medium? He said "I don't have to". I didn't even bother pushing it further as I could tell by all the "no refund" signs posted all over, that this was probably an ongoing issue and my complaints wouldn't go far. this was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any public establishment. I have never took the time to say this much about one single place but this was worth every word to let you know that this is unacceptable.i will also be sending this to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk there were quite a few things. First off we walk in the door we donāt know where to go. Thereās no sign telling us where to get our tickets. The box office was closed but thereās nothing there to tell me where to go. I had to greet the guy behind the counter first and ask him where to get the tickets. Second I understand prices are going up but for a theater that looks somewhat newish in a newer area youād think theyād have nice seats. i donāt know which theater yāall went in but I went in room 2 and the seats were awful!!! Very uncomfortable. Ours didnāt rock I donāt know what yāall are talking about. The movie we saw started 30 mins late during a matinee time of 150pm. Paid 16 dollars for two people to watch not only an awful unsatisfying Holmes and Watson movie, But it also started late with previews lasting well over 45 minutes. Now what ticks me off is I bought tickets online for the Thursday before Christmas for the Spider-Man movie in imax at this theater and the tickets cost 26 dollars which I had to have refunded because I chose the wrong date which by the way is super difficult to do. I donāt know why we canāt have our tickets changed for a different date without having to cancel the entire thing. Request a refund and then wait 7 days plus they charge you 4.95 for the refund. Why canāt you just exchange it for a different date or modify your tickets online or in the app??? maybe you can but I wouldnāt know because this theater never answers the phone either. Iām glad we got the refund for the imax movie because if the seats were as bad in the imax theater as they are in all the other movies I wouldnāt pay 26 or 16 dollars for them. This is the worst theater Iāve ever been too. Severely...
